none of those pitching matchups are really nice in anyone's favor, but the rest of the team should win the games. The rotation has fallen on hard times, huh? Mark Buerhle looks really good right now, doesnt he?

Yeah, the pitching matchups don't really give anyone the advantage in this series, but they're still the Royals and I expect to win.

 

Later in the week against Chicago if we can scratch across a run or two we should be safe. They can't hit their way out of a wet paper bag. Buerhle has been solid, but I don't expect him to shut us out or anything...although with the way our offense looked this afternoon I wouldn't put it past him.

You mean the way our offense has looked since the beginning of June? They've had good games every now and then, but they've been incredibly frustrating for most of the past month and a half. They absolutely mash for a few nights and then go into a week-long slump (sometimes a bit longer). It's frustrating as hell.
