how can you not hit a cutter right down the middle of the f***ing plate? Mariano went for a decade with 1.5 pitches. Get used to it (no matter how this game ends).

I'll give the Sox credit for the sweep. Some things I noticed looking back at the series.

The Red Sox starting pitchers are not as good as they have been touted. It is much more suspect than I believed.

The Yankee bullpen is not as good as touted.

Papelbon is as amazing a pitcher as there is in baseball right now.

Joe Torre is the biggest idiot in baseball. The Yankees will not win anything as long as this guy is calling the shots.

Congrats Sox fans. Round Two, next weekend.

Arod grounds out!!! Sox sweep at Fenway for first time in 17 years

Kilo mojo did not die 5 game win streak, improving their record to 12-5. Maybe its just Fenway (or the Yankees pitching) but the offense seems to be coming around.

For player of the game... its a draw between Lowell's 2 HRs, 4 RBIs (2nd HR gave them lead for good) and Pedroia with the dazzling play to stop the Yankees from tying. Matsuzaka had his first hiccup of the season but he still showed me moxie, it still wasnt affecting his manner or poise on the mound. He'll get his chance to put up better stat line game 1 at Yankee Stadium

Tomorrow is a rematch of Wakefield vs Ohka, oh yea

They were facing the tough ass lineup of the Yankees, its hard to ever keep your guys in check. Ease up before you proclaim its all downhill from here for the Sox starting pitching :rolleyes:
