Igawa, along with most of the other Yankee starters, simply has trouble starting people out when they get way ahead in the count, especially with runners on base.

Pretty unfortunate for Sowers, that's the fourth regular ground ball of the inning that has snuck through. Also, good job by Bowa, he's really getting better at when to send runners home and when not to.

Yeah he really does, but it makes me wonder what kind of effect all those postponements had on them. I figured they would beat Chase Wright like a drum last night, and that they would really get to Igawa. I guess not.
