I think it's time for a win' date=' period.[/quote']

lol, good point. Maybe Pettitte hands the ball right to Mo? Pettitte's been the only consistent pitcher so far this year and it's his job to be the stopper tonight. It would also be nice if there wasn't extra pressure on Phil Hughes tomorrow night to stop a long losing streak.

By the way, it's raining pretty good right now. Any report on possible rain delays?

The game tonight is PPD per Yahoo. Does the Phranchise get bumped back and debut against the Sox? Or do they keep him throwing against Toronto and throw Pettitte? I think the latter.

I think the Yankees should stick with Phil for tomorrow. While a Hughes - Matsuzaka matchup would certainly be entertaining, I'm much more comfortable with him starting off his career against the Blue Jays and whoever they put out there tomorrow. I think, especially since he pitched in Sunday's game, Pettitte could go on Friday without any issues.

While I hate the game being rained out (nothing to watch on television now!) I do like the fact that, finally, the Yankee relievers will get a day off. Although Joe will probably have a few of them stay at the Stadium and throw an inning or two just for the heck of it.:o

6 weeks at least' date=' probably more. It's not that big a deal though since he'd be sent down soon anyway.[/quote']Not a big deal? I switched to the Yankee after he came out of the game. Everyone in the dugout looked as if they hd been kicked in the balls. The announcers sounded like they were doing a funeral.

Probably because he just got f***ed out of a no hitter. Other than that it's just s*** luck but it's not like we were counting on him to be our ace in the beginning of the season. If that were the case then it'd be a huge deal.
