Pretty good sequence there to Molina. The Yankees' offense is really sleepwalking through these last two games, but with the way they've played lately I have no right to complain.

lol Bruney isn't Farnsworth

Haha, I would much rather have Farnsworth out there then Bruney.

EDIT: LOL, first pitch slider from a guy who has control issues.

This is really on the organization. Bruney shouldn't be on the roster so Torre isn't even tempted to use him. You honestly could not find a guy that I wouldn't rather have out there then Brian Bruney.

In Play out(s)

And yes, all offseason he would tell us how filthy the Yankee pen was and Bruney was a part of that.

Haha. Ok, Joe kind of just suckered Gibbons here. If he lets Duncan hit against the righty he is clueless. Betemit is a solid hitter from the left side who could take advantage of the short porch.

That's toooo bad. The Yankees big 9th inning comeback goes for naught. On the bright side, Joe used everyone in his bullpen except Farnsworth. Joba the Hut can't go until Monday. Torre just couldn't resist burning the whole pen. Haha!!!

Who is pitching for the Yankees tomorrow. Kennedy is listed' date=' but I thought I heard something about him not starting tomorrow. Can anyone confirm?[/quote']

Clemens was pushed up.

It's not that big a deal, but that last pitch was not a strike. What makes it worse in my opinion is that the homeplate umpire had a very small the zone the entire game, and he had not been calling that pitch a strike. I think anyone who watched would agree with that.

It probably would not have made a difference, just making an observation.

How exactly do you think he should have managed the game?

Clemens tomorrow? Oh goodie! Are they skipping Kennedy's turn?

I think he managed it just fine.

The fact Joba's gone til Monday makes me very, very happy.

He strained a muscle in his lower back. I don't know if he's going to pitch again.

Also, it's not unreasonable to think that Clemens will put together a good start. He's on an extra day of rest, and the Blue Jays aren't exactly a great hitting team.
