who has the sweetest swing from each side of the plate? This comes to mind after watching Robby Cano lace a ball into the RCF gap. He has about as nice looking a swing from the left side of the plate than anyone. Papi has an effective one, but it isnt as pretty as Cano's. From the right side, it is Manny any day of the week.

Lance Berkman has a pretty sweet swing... but agree with C.D. cause Griffey Jr. has such a sweet swing...

had to throw the gurriel reference in there didnt you. Violent swings are not sweet swings and gurriel swings his ass off every time.

.. Looks violent because he generates so much speed ..

I like watching Vlad swing

ya because he can hit the ball no matter where it is... Alfonso Soriano has a pretty nice swing too...

Griffey from the left, Manny from the right. Sweetest ever that I saw, Gwynn, Strawberry [when he connected], and Griffey, right-handed was Edgar Martinez. Still trying to find a hole in his swing.

You may show your pleasure.

Hehe.....

After reading that thread today, the inside joke is now clear.

Seriously:

I agree with the original poster, Manny from the right

I have to say Griffey from the left. If you watch old videos of him in Seattle basically golfing balls 500 yards, you will notice that there is no swing quite like his.
