Cocos Disciples Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Oh my, that was close. Inning over, no runs. s***.
ORS Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 I keep saying it, because until I see him underperforming, it's a bad move by the FO. They were banking on him getting old. I think that is ridiculous, so I am mocking that ridiculous position. It's curious that posters on this board take it personally? I don't take it personal, I just find it a little odd. Not that you are interested in fairness, but wouldn't it be just to let this play out and see what's what at the end of those 4 years before dislocating your shoulder patting yourself on the back? I mean, it's kind of like SFiT who pronounces the Yankees "done" after every crushing loss in April. It's a long season, and it's another 3 years until we can fairly judge that decision, IMO.

Because no one wants to see "broken record" posts, just maybe its annoying
Cocos Disciples Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Ugh, after the squander, Johsnon back to sucking again.
AlexanderTheGreat13 Verified Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 3-0 Tigers over White Sox
Cocos Disciples Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 They held Conine?????? He's slow...
ORS Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 I hope Johson's last pitch in this game is his last for the Sox.
Cocos Disciples Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 See the groundskeeper next to Tavarez in the bullpen? I know him.
RoyNHSox Verified Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Johnson sucks, Snyder gets relegated to the pen and used last night. Now Tavarez is warming. I don’t have a good feeling about this game.
Soxfan1 Verified Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 PSP again. Fox has sox @ tigers here. Rogers had a 1 hitter going now its 3-3.
ORS Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 False hope about the offense last night. Now they are getting stymied by Kris Benson. Wake up bats, the arms aren't winning this game, nor are they carrying this team down the stretch.
Cocos Disciples Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Another day, another loss in ground. Nice play by Mora.
riverside sluggers Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Wily Mo strikes (HR rather) again!!!
RoyNHSox Verified Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 I heart Wily Mo. Another bomb.
a700hitter Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Because no one wants to see "broken record" posts, just maybe its annoyingI will continue to call Damon "Over the Hill Johnny Damon" and Pedro "Twighlight Pedro" and Jason johnson "The Ultimate Loser jason Johnson" so deal with it. If every time I use one of those names, you confront me, you are the one engaging in "broken -record posts"
Cocos Disciples Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Or you're the one being the *******.

If every time I use one of those names, you confront me, you are the one engaging in "broken -record posts" um its not about those mock names you picked out... its complaining about not resigning Damon, Pedro
Cocos Disciples Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 5-3...as they talk about the lack of homers, 2 in the inning.
RoyNHSox Verified Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Coco showing some rare power. Nice.
a700hitter Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 I hope Johson's last pitch in this game is his last for the Sox.As long as they continue to send "The Ultimate Loser" to the mound they are not serious about getting into the playoff hunt. Rather than building on last night's game, we are on our way to losing ground in the playoff hunt. This is unbelievable to me. 8 games into the 9 against the worst teams in the league, we should be in first in the East.
Pesky Verified Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Coco has been on fire in the lead off spot. Hopefully he can keep it up, he can be huge. Plus, I like putting Youks behind Manny for a little bit more protection.
RedSoxRooter Verified Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 I heart Wily Mo. Another bomb. Of course on espn gamecast they just showed the ball explode.. How much did he crush it?
Pesky Verified Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 The Orioles bullpen is garbage though, much like ours. This game should be interesting.
Cocos Disciples Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Left-center field, over everything.
a700hitter Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 um its not about those mock names you picked out... its complaining about not resigning Damon, PedroRead the posts. You guys brought up this issue. I just gave a Yankee update and used the mock nickname, and like clockwork you hotheads engage me in the argument that you are tire of having. Jeeesh.
RoyNHSox Verified Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Of course on espn gamecast they just showed the ball explode.. How much did he crush it? Just your average bullet over everything in left center field.
a700hitter Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Or you're the one being the *******.It's funny how no one has a problem with me calling Jason Johnson "The Ultimate Loser." But saying "Over the Hill Johnny" or "Twighlight Pedro" and you go crazy.
riverside sluggers Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 FOX- "And of course Nick markakis will be in the ROY 2006 race" Sorry hardly he'll be able to contend with Papelbon & Verlander EDIT: f*** off Johnson
