  1. Yeah, it will be fun. Once things get rolling, you'll be addicted. If you have any questions, I am ManRamForPrez24 on the site, and am able to help you figure stuff out if needed. Still a few more teams left, so come on over.
  2. Just throwing this out there. If we miss the playoffs, I think that it isn't going to be because of this series, but instead it will be because when the Yankees were struggling, and really playing bad ball, we didn't capitalize. They kept on trucking, even though it was hard at times, and we just kept chilling. We should've been up a lot more than we were before this whole debacle. Ugh...
  3. Why couldn't this clown pitch last night in the 8th?
  4. No. If only someone could get on base next inning for you-know-who.
  5. Boomer isn't going anywhere soon. It is still August, and we do have almost 40 games left. If we fall double digets behind the Yankees, we should trade Lowell, Boomer and Loretta for some young talent, or bullpen help for next year.
  6. Come on. Lets score some runs. This is the first time in years it seems like that we have only allowed 2 runs after 8 innings. It is time for the offense to make its contribution today. LETS GO!
  7. And they easily could have won more, and picked up Papelbon. 13 stranded, bases loaded in the 9th with 1 out (I think). We could've and should've scored more runs.
  8. Find a quote in which I said the pitching hasn't been the main reason we are losing? I am not saying that. I am saying, when they do get a good outing from a starter, the offense does jack. The pitching doesn't pick up the offense, and the offense doesn't pick up the pitching. That is why we are losing.
  9. Again, I am not saying the pitching has been good or anything close to it. My only point is that when we get a good starting pitching outing, we get no offensive support. When we get a bad outing, we get good offensive support. Why can't the pitching and hitting click at the same time? Wells pitched perhaps the best game a Red Sox starter has pitched all year, but the team does nothing to help him out.
  10. With all the struggles these four days, this is almost the most frustrating for me. We can expect bad bullpen outings, but we couldn't score one run off of a bad pitcher. This game hurts the most. Boomer pitched his ass off, and his team did squat to help him. Schilling pitched his ass off, his team let him down. f*** the first three games, the last two are by far the worst loses of the season.
  11. I totally agree. If I were to asses blame, I'd say 50% is the pen, 30% is the starting, and 20% is the offense. But that 20% is still a factor. Like today. Great outing, no runs. It is just a shame that we can't have both good pitching and good batting at the same time. It never happens. So maybe both are more equally at fault.
  12. Wow. You sound like Mike Timlin. That is all the man said, so why bash him about it. HE WAS RIGHT.
  13. NO! THEY CAN'T f***ING SCORE ONE RUN WHEN THE PITCHING HANDS THEM A GREAT OUTING. I KNOW THEY'VE SCORED LOTS OF RUNS, BUT THEY NEVER EVER EVER EVER GIVE ANY SUPPORT WHEN WE GET A GOOD OUTING. I REALLY DON'T CARE HOW MANY RUNS THEY SCORE, I CARE WHEN THEY SCORE THEM. CORY f***ING LIDLE. 0 RUNS SCORED OFF OF HIM. WHY CAN'T THE OFFENSE DO ANYTHING WHEN WE GET A GOOD OUTING?
  14. Did I say it was THE reason? All I said it hasn't really done anything to help out either. Timlin main point was that when the pitching gives a good outing, the offense never gives them any support. He is right. He didn't say the pitching has been amazing, and the offense has sucked, he said when we get a good outing, we don't score runs. What is better proof than today's game????? The bullpen takes the brunt of the blame, the offense should take some too. They had the chance to pick up the team, even after Paps and co. blew it, but they blew it as well. Besides Ortiz, Manny and DFA, the offense has been despicable.
  15. 5 runs...wow! Then stranded 3 men in the 9th. How about scoring double diget runs when we get a good outing? They left 13 men on base, including 6 left in scoring position. They've stranded 41 batters in 4 games. That is bad. No big hits what-so-ever. The pen should take most of the blame, but the offense has to take a lot of it as well. THEY COULDN'T SCORE A f***ING RUN OFF OF CORY FREAKING LIDLE!!!!!!!!!! That is almost worse than allowing 7 runs in 1 inning.
