Although, I doubt that MLB players need that much motivation from the fans. Sure there's home field advantage and all that based on the fans, but I doubt Manny's gonna strike out or hit a homerun depending on how loud we boo/cheer him.

I think however that the recent struggles are based mainly on motivation. They just don't get excited for these bad teams. I really think they just expect to beat them. Booing them would get at least some of them fired up, and tell them that we aren't happy.

But if that’s true then f*** them all, including Tito. Jesus, these guys are well paid professionals who must know how important each game is at this point in the season. To not get motivated after losing to the bottom feeders of the AL is unacceptable. I believe the opposite is true. They know how things are going and they’re pressing more and more to get it done. Sometimes s*** happens.
