The Weekly Contest continues, here is the fourth one. This one will start on Monday (5/15) and end on a Sunday (5/21). I'm doing this to allow extra time to enter and to have the contests run back to back.This contest has been modified to allow greater participation, so pay attention.

Entry for this contest ( 5/15 - 5/21 ) starts today and ends Sunday 5/14 at noon.

Rules :

 

You must be a Talksox member in good standing.

You must have 150 or more posts when you enter ( there's always next week ).

Winner, Must PM me within 24 hrs. with a legal mailing address.

 

How to Win :

 

...Pick the Number of Wins the Red Sox will have during this week (time frame)

...Pick the Total Home Runs hit by the Red Sox for the week.

...Pick the Total Number of Runs the Red Sox will score during the week.

...The total of all three will equal "Your Pick".

 

...Your total ( Your Pick ) can't be the same as one that has been already selected. So check the listing that will posted ( usually page 1 ) after the first several picks. I try to update this list as fast as possible, but I'm not a 7-11 ( I'm not here 24/7). So try to see most recent posts and the list, I'll try and make a post indicating last update. It's kind of a pain posting and IMing people to pick another selection. This is supposed to be fun.

I would like to point something out. I think this idea is great and very fun. Something that came to my mind was that if you join the contest after all the "good" picks are gone you really can't make an educated guess.

 

I believe that if you chose 3, 4, 5 or whatever wins than there should be the chance to guess the same number of home runs and/or total score than someone else if your amount of wins is different.

 

Here is an example....

All of those picks should be OK.

 

Don't feel I'm saying "my idea is better" or anything. I just thought I would make a suggestion.

Interesting point. But I think you should read the rules on page one.
