I posted this in the gamethread, but:

You just have to feel bad for someone whose career is basically over at 30.

He has lost all of his skills and confidence. Everything about him is broken.

What? A-Rod just hit a HR yesterday. It's hard to say he's lost his skills.

I didn't say i agreed with it. I just think it's funny someone actually posted it.

Damn well when it rains it pours. Arod is obviously an emotional guy, but I don't know why he hasn't busted out of this thing yet. Maybe everything is just getting to him, and by everything I mean all the criticism he has heard is starting to get into his head. He knows he is hated and he knows more people are rooting for him to fail than succeed, but he needs to see two therapists if needed and say "f*** it" to everyone. Loosen up my man.

At least A-Rod doesn't have Kyle Snyder as his teammate. Though arguably, Aaron Small could fit that role.

With Kyle Fransworth on the sidelines for a couple of days the Yankees have called up T.J. Beam. Beam has finally had the year we have been looking for out of this big (hes like 6'7) right hander and now he will get a chance to prove himself with the big club. It was only a matter of time. I hope the Yankees send down Small but the more likely person to get sent down is Kevin Thompson.

I'm a bit upset with Torre's lineup for today. I was hoping for something like this:

Damon

Williams

Jeter

Giambi

Posada

Cano

Melky

Chacon

Rodriguez

Hahaha, nice one.

No, his magical moment was last year. He won't be any better (or worse) than Clement/Pauley.

No quit in the Nats, they get 3 back off of Shawn "Yes, I was really that overrated" Chacon. 9-6
