Yes, the very powerful offense with Jason Michaels battring 2nd and Eduardo Perez batting 5th. A very scary offense. <_>

Saw this on Rotoworld:

MLB suspended LHP Randy Johnson five games for throwing at Eduardo Perez during Wednesday's game.

Surprising, yet still basically irrelevant. Johnson will almost surely appeal and have a start pushed back a day later on. Manager Joe Torre also received a one-game suspension over the incident

Isn't there bad blood between RJ and Perez?

He threw at his head..f*** RJ, he deserved it. If Eduardo hadn't known it was coming he would have nailed him.

Oh please, it was nowhere near his head. Considering it didn't even hit him, Randy's basically getting a 5 game suspension for a high and inside pitch. Absolutely ridiculous.

The Guardians are second in the AL in runs scored.

What's scary is your lack of intellect.

If at the end of the year the Guardians still have Jason Michaels batting second and Eduardo Perez batting 5th they will not finish second in the AL in runs scored. What has not changed is that you can never address the merits of an argument, you would much rather just dismiss someone as stupid or an idiot. That says a lot about you.

Thanks, dont get angry at me because you got "owned". BTW Perez usually only plays against lefites and he has a 1.028 OPS against them. I'd say thats not bad.

If your definition of getting owned is having your intellect insulted.

Despite rumors circulating yesterday the Yankees were in hot pursuit of Kansas City outfielder Reggie Sanders, a team official claimed there have not been detailed talks between the teams since the Royals changed GMs two weeks ago. The Yankees last month rejected an offer of Sanders for top pitching prospect Phil Hughes.

Well, all things considered, things are going pretty good for this team right now. They continue to have sole possesion of first place, thanks to our friends in Minnesota. LUck definitely seems to be playing a role at the moment(I don't know what else you can call the Sox going on a 4 game losing streak right after our 4 game losing streak.) Anyways, the team is coming off a good series to end the homestand and now get to battle out the powerhouse known as the NL East (or the only division with one .500+ team at the mnoment) for the next two weeks or so. Let us hope it stays warm (Randy is a completely different pitcher when the mercury is rising) and A-Rod himself can heat up (heh, I did not plan this sentence out.) If those two players can begin playing like they are capable of, and guys like Cano, Wang, and Melky continue their streaks of brilliance, this team is in pretty good shape (I thought I'd have to wait until 2007 to say that in the initial wake of the Sheff, Matsui, and Pavano losses.)

ya know what? you are right. The Yankees are doing just enough when it counts to stay at or near the AL East lead, despite some key personnel losses.

Why should I address your argument? Not worth my time.

The Guardians are third in runs scored, and that starting lineups has been the same all year.

How hard is that to comprehend?

Perez didn't play that day.

Guardians lineup against Beckett:

1. CF Grady Sizemore

2. LF Jason Micheals

3. SS Jhonny Peralta

4. DH Travis Hafner

5. C Victor Martinez

6. 1B Ben Broussard

7. 2B Ronnie Belliard

8. 3B Aaron Boone

9. RF Casey Black

Against Johnson

1. Sizemore, CF

2. Michaels, LF

3. Hafner, DH

4. Martinez, C

5. Perez, E, RF

6. Belliard, 2B

7. Broussard, 1B

8. Peralta, SS

9. Boone, 3B

Only Blake/Perez are different here. They platoon anyway. Just because you don't happen to recognize the Guardians batters, doesn't mean they suck.

In conclusion, you're an idiot. The Guardians have had a talented lineup for the last two years. Sizemore, Hafner, and Martinez are elite hitters. Johnson pitched very well in that game, but you have some phobia against the Yankees, it accelerates a disease called "dumbassitis," you're severely afflicted by this.

It's amusing to me that in your world it is not possible to be wrong about something without also being an idiot or being afflicted with "dumbassitis." How well has this approach served you in your personal relationships? Winning an argument for you is apparently not satisfying unless you can also be demeaning. Why don't you go find the boards that the Rivernator (the other TalkSox borderline personality) currently trolls and live happily ever after. The Rivernator is allegedly an MD who might be able to get you on the proper medication.:thumbdown

Yeah, I'll have to take you up on that. I do have that disease called Tourette Syndrome. :o
