I personally believe Sheffield when he said last year that he didnt intentionally use. His statement was very specific and made sense. He said that the steroid he used was in the form of a cream that he was told by a trainer to rub on his knee, which he was rehabbing at the time due to surgery. I have no reason to not believe him.

Yeah, but one would think Sheffield would check what the cream contained...

if a medical professional tells me to take something im going to take it.

my doctor told me to take these pills in preperation for my surgery next week and i take them...no questions asked, trainer tells Sheff to rub cream on his knee to help it, he takes it no questions asked.

I tend to believe Sheffield knew what he was taking. The excuse "I didn't know what I was taking" has been heard so many times and it is almost always false. It is a last resort for those who don't want to admit it, but have been tested positive for steroids.

Palmerio used that line when he said he has never knowingly taken steroids, period, last week. I don't believe him and I don't believe Sheffield either.

Not to question doctor's orders, but if he hands you a can of drug "X", you wouldn't want to know what it is, what it's going to do, etc. What if you're allergic to it? They'd probably check before hand, be on some chart, and even more so, doctors, well most?, explain what they're prescribing, I'd like to think?

Hope your surgery goes well.

ask harold reynolds and it is clear he changed his swing its that simple yankee basher

John Kruk said Randy Johnson was going to win 30 games this season... let's just say baseball "experts" aren't always as smart as they think they are.

I personally think he's not on the 'roids either, but what has me wondering is his rapid weight/bulkiness increase?

Can someone please show me proof of this supposed weight gain. I have watched all but maybe 20 games this year and I don't see it.

HGH. He's admitted to a grand jury that he used it. It's untraceable- there is no way to test for it right now. It's like 'roids but no test can give it up. This is what happened with 'Roid boy's stomach troubles last year. He was shooting the stuff up into his stomach and ended up messing himself up.

Giambi's back on HGH. This is the new generation of steroids in the MLB folks.

Five home runs in the last three games. His BA is close to .300, and he is now looking like the MVP he was during the period it was later discovered that he was taking steroids. Just seems fishy to me. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

Maybe it is just hard work, regaining his stroke, but Jason brought these questions on himself by his previous denials of steroid usage after he had already admitted it to the Grand Jury, per the San Francisco Chronicle.

You've started a number of these troll-like threads like this on the Orioles message board at the Baltimore Sun, you've trolled this up on a Yankees message board and under various names at other team sites. You have no shame. You've bad mouthed him and wished him ill for years. You speculate cause you hate, you know nothing other than what you choose to read on the internet.

You're supposed to be a fan of the Orioles, but you're just a sychophant for peter angelo$er and a Yankee & Giambi hater. Hate the Yanks, but be like Sox fans and hate because of a rivalry. The Orioles are no one's rival because they are a major league baseball after thought. A nothing team owned by a greedy old little man who bleeds the team because his children are incapable of getting real jobs.

Go back to the Orioles message board where you are the most hated poster in the hisotry of that site.

You wouldn't know Bobby Doerr from Bobby Grich

I doubt that Red Sox fans are interested in this BS, Abbott I'll tell you the same thing I told Yanky Dave. if you have nothing to add to the forum then butt out.

But to set the record straight, your post is simply not true, I am not disliked on the O's site except by the Yankee loving fans there. I have not started a "Giambi on steroids" thread on the Yankee site, I merely added my opinions to the existing discussions there. Interestingly a large percentage of Yankee fans are suspicious that he is back on the juice.

Also I have not posted on other team sites under various names, perhaps you have been looking at the sites and are a littlie paranoid? Probably there are Giambi discussions everywhere like them or not, baseball fans everywhere are suspicious. I heard the suspicions raised on ESPN radio several times and there was that article in the NY Post too.

But I agree with Crespo the thread should die for now, until something else comes up on hte Giambi issue I see no need to keep rehashing the same arguments.

Yes, I want Yeszir to ban people like this. As far as I'm concerned, you have contributed valid arguments to this site and I have seen no hypocritical remarks that reflect badly on yourself. Until I do, I stand by your side, and tell all these *******s to GET THE f*** OUT. I also think they should be banned, but that's not my decision.

You are an absolute liar, hypocrite and stalker. Some sort of sick person who rushes around baseball internet message boards with the same thread. You started the exact same thread on the Orioles message board. Last I looked Jason Giambi is not now nor has he ever been a member of the World Champion Boston Red Sox or the perennial losers and afterthought Baltimore Orioles.

Go Away you little creep.

The last post #258 reflects a an intelligent mind, and I think the I should be banned from this board.

That's your general modus operandi. You flame, troll and libel those who disagree with you, then cry a colostomy bag full of tears when you are called out for being the insignificant and mentally challenged fool who still lives in the basement of grandma's row house.

Nothing has changed from this post. And this will be my last post on this thread unless there is some more breaking news about Giambi.

He probably did ask questions, he probably asked what it would do, and the answer as he said was "heal these bruises". While it is common among some, its equally as uncommon among others to ask whats in their medicine. I suspect had this taken place today he would have asked what was in it and got all the details. But because it happened in 2002, while steroids was an issue, it wasnt looked at as closely or considered by many as as big a deal as it is now. Thanks

and you know this for sure how? Its fair to speculate but unfair to flat out say that hes on it.

This Thread Needs To Die!!!!!!!!!!

Yeszir, I seriously think we should ban these mofos who come here just to throw reps into the shitter
