Yeah, I think the biggest lead was about 29-30, but the closest it ever got was 9. This game was never really close. Ricky had an amazing game with 36 points shooting 14-17 (8-10 FTs). My boy Kendrick Perkins played a great game too. 6 points 5 boards 3 assists 2 steals in 16 minutes. The kid has been playing really well lately. HE is probably the best on the team at outlet passes, I really hope he can turn into something good. He is still only 20 years old too. Marcus Banks played a great game too. You look at his line and see that he only had 1 point, but he also had 6 or 7 assists, and played some very good defense. That s*** was so close was because of, this shouldnt surprised anyone, the Refs. Bernie Robertson, I think thats his name, called a terrible game. If I recall correctly the last time he reffed one of our games it was another horribly officiated game. Its just disgusting how bad the officiating is in the NBA right now.

Celts have lost 4 straight! What is going on!?!?

They lost to two good teams, Detroit and Dallas. The Detroit game was a hard fought very close game, and a very entertaining game. The refs were terrible in this one, as they got to take about 21 more free throws. The Dallas game was another close game until about 8 minutes left. We lost to the Bulls, which we should have lost, they played terrible, and with no intensity in the 4th quarter. Then the Knick game, similar to the Pistons game, we should have won, but the refs were terrible. Youll look at the score and see that it wasnt close, but had Pierce played more than 8 first half minutes, the game would probably have been a little different.

Vs the Pistons, Rasheed was just making some nice plays and Richard Hamilton is a great player. He looked very underrated to me. He was making nice passes and making most of his shots.

Vs the Mavericks it was pretty much a 3 point game most of the time. In the 4th quarter, Dirk just went off. We were leaving him with open shots, mostly 3s. Whenever he gets the ball wide from beyond the arch, noone would even sprint out and make an effort, they just started boxing out. Do you expect Dirk to miss?

Vs the Bulls, I didn't get to watch this one, because I was gone somewhere... I don't remember. But I think we should have beaten them. What was the score? I mean, We have great players to cover all their good players. Ben Gordon and Kirk Hinrich are good guards but then we have great guards to cover them. And Paul shoulda gone off against Luol Deng. Tyson Chandler vs Antoine seems like a matchup that we have the advantage.

Vs the Knicks, wow, Jamal Crawford is very athletic. It seemed like he had a ton of assists and steals, which is exactly what a point guard is meant to do. If we played the Knicks 5 more times we would win every one. Off night for us and off night for the horrendous reffing job.

Oh yeah, Yeszir, I think you should change the name of this thread to Official Celtics thread or something.

Good idea. ;)

Ok, so the Playoffs start tonight. The Celtics play at 8 in Boston against the Pacers. I know I'll be there... Its going to be a great series. 3rd year in a row these two teams have faced off in the first round. First time Celts won, 2nd time Pacers won. I remember in the first one, Pierce just went crazy all over Artest, popping threes over his forehead, and dominated the series. The 2nd time they swept us. Lots of things to follow in this one too. Will O'NEal be 100%? How will the young guns on the Celts react to the added pressure of the playoffs? Reggie Millers last playoff series?

Huge 20 point blow out win. LaFrentz had a huge game shooting 8-9 (5-5 for three) with 21 points. It was an unbelieveable game, I was one of the lucky ones to see it. They started out really slow. But in the 2nd quarter they exploded for 39 points and held Indy to 14 or something.

They held them to 8 points in the second quarter!

It was by far the loudest I have ever heard it in the Fleet Center. Probably when Red came out and sat in his seat, when Larry came and sat in his seat, and probably at the end of the first half. It was definitely by far worth every single penny I spent for those seats.

Thats good, he hasnt made much of a difference anyways. Im looking forward to Perkins starting tonight (I hope)... because Perkins is amazing. Put LaFrentz at power forward and draw O'Neal away from the bucket. LaFrentz im sure would get many good looks because I think O'Neal would be a little hesitant to go out that far. Put Perkins down low on the glass, and he can get loads of offensive boards. Pretty good leaper and hes got amazing instincts on the glass and can get high rebounds over anyone.

30 points. I think it was. Down 2-1. No Antoine. Losing this game theyd be all but done. The guy only misses four shots. He needed to carry this team and he did.
