Holy Mother f***. The Celtics completely owned the Suns, 120-113. Antoine had another double double. Marcus Banks had a f***ing ridiculois game, with 2 HUGE blocks, one on Stevn HUnter (7 feet tall). Delonte West hit the three that gave the Celts the lead for good. Danny Ainge and Doc Rivers look like geniuses right now.

toine is nothing without pierce and vice versa... together they are one of the leagues best duos. just give them a big man and someone who can somewhat handle the ball and there is a contending team anyday.

The kids were better than the stars last night. Marcus, Tony and Al were all very impressive running that quick offense while Paul, Toine and the Glove weren't anywhere near as good.

Paul played well. He had 20 poitns while shooting 7 of 15 and only going to the line 3 times. He shot like 4-6 from 3s too. Gary did come up with that huge steal at the end of the game. Antoine did have that huge block + pass to Tony Allen who sunk the jumper at the halftime buzzer. I think it was a good game all around.

There was a nice article in the Globe today by Peter May I believe. He said why the division is a lock right now. Namely that Philly hasnt been able to gell together, they have a significantly tougher schedule (theyre going out west for the Lakers Kings and Suns or Spurs I believe), and the Celtics schedule is basically terrible. HE basically said that the Celts would have to have a huge letdown to lose the division.

Easy win coming tonight vs. the Bobcats I would hope. Just as long as they come out and play hard and make the easy layups (unlike the Atlanta game, which they still won)

I went to the game vs the Hawks on um... Wednesday?

They looked great in the second half (we were down 20 in the first half). They ended up winning by maybe 6. Our whole team gels. We play like a college team, getting everybody involved in every play, hustling like it's the last play every play, doing all they can do every play, we're great. I feel like we're a big contender for the championship. Especially after that impressive double overtime win vs the reigning champs.

Blount has a great outside shot. Pierce is just amazing. Twan is just amazing. Payton thinks for the team before he thinks for himself. Ricky Davis can dunk, shoot, dribble, he's the fast break master. Our bench is great too. Tony Allen, Delonte, Al, Raef, they can all start any day of the week. I LOVE THIS TEAM.

We are on fire.

Our starting lineup is like all great players

Payton

Davis

Pierce

Walker

LaFrentz

And I'd say we have the best bench in the league.

Tony Allen, Mark Blount, Delonte West, Marcus Banks, Al Jefferson

I do!!! Ricky obviously should be starting- he's in our top 4 players. He just puts up great numbers off the bench compared to his average numbers starting. He would be starting. Tony Allen starts and barely gets any playing time.

Any mediocrely smart celtics fan would know that Ricky Davis plays 10 times better coming off the bench.

I don't get how you play better off the bench. You're still playing on the floor, so he has the same abilities as if he was starting. He's just coming in a few minutes later. I don't see how that makes him 10 times better than if he started on the floor.

Well, not him, the team. I would much rather have Ricky than Allen on the 2nd unit. Think about it this way. The talent is more spread out.

2nd Unit Now

G- West

G- Banks

C- Blount

F- Jefferson

F- Davis

OR without Davis

G- West

G- Banks

C- Blount

F- Jefferson

F- Allen

I would take the first.

HOLY! I watch every single game. He never puts whole lines it at a time. There is at least 2 starters in at all times. Maybe once in 923472 years he'll change the whole line but not a lot.

Haha, you obviously dont from judging some of the things you have said here. You might, but if you do, you pay as much attention to the game as I do in school. I can recall instances from the past, at least 4 or 5 games, where in each one Doc has used the 'B Unit'. Try again.
