i dont think its a big turnaround, if your talking about a team the previous year vs the present year. i dont think its the biggest turnaround at all. we should have made the world series in 2003 but someone named grady little f***ed it up for us.

2003, Montreal Canadiens... coming from down 3-0 to beat the Bruins in 7. Depressing times, Montreal sucked. That was a memorable series/turnaround, too bad they lost.

3-0, 3-1 Same difference, its just as humiliating when a team of idiots beats you. (In the yankees and bruins case)

I wouldn't exactly say same difference had happened before in the history of professional sports 3-0 hadn't.

It's hard to believe they were a .500 team for most of the summer. They didn't win the division, yet they did pull it all together at the right time. Coming back from 0-3, and winning 8 straight against the teams with the best and second best records is an amazing accomplishment. I always though the '78 team was the best Red Sox team ever, but after this year the '04 Sox have to be number 1.

Happy 20th anniversary, everyone!

Did this one game bring you back from the pit of despair that was game 3 and the memories of 2003?

Nope, but it gave me hope. Still needed three more... and then we'd never have to watch Fox clips of Babe, Bucky, and Boone again.

OOPS -- I meant Fox would never again show Brock Holt's CYCLE in YANKEE STADIUM in '18, and the Nunez-Pearce ALDS-clinching play, and Eovaldi beating NY AGAIN in the '21 WC!!!!!

For me the very best moment of all the moments was the end of ALCS Game 7 in Yankee Stadium, looking at the guys in the dugout getting ready to run on the field and celebrate.

Orlando Cabrera turning to the crowd and holding up four fingers on one hand and an empty fist on the other.
