    I think the chances of getting a quality #2 starter are slim. But I hope we can get a decent rental starter to bump Fitts to the bullpen. I would love to bring Martin back from Texas to also help in the bullpen.

    Justin Gonzales up to .275 as an 18 year old in Salem!!!! Kid is putting together decent at bats lately.

    I am more than a bit concerned that our system lacks high end position players prospects at the moment!!! Salem and Florida had only 1 high bat between them!!! Two or three years from now and we have very little depth of high end bats to bring up in case of injury or free agency defections

    Command and control seems to have been sacrificed for velocity in today’s game!!! yet the best pitchers in today’s game have the ability to locate pitchers when they need to!!! I think it is why hicks will always be a 6th inning pitcher

    Keller is at best a good replacement for Fitts in the rotation!! can bres-slow put together a strong enough package to pry gore away from Washington???

    Tolle is a one pitch pitcher from what I have seen. The secondaries are inconsistent at this point!!! I think the Sox will put him on the same program as early. After he settles in to the game, the second time through the lineup, he throws a ton of secondary stuff

    This offseason, with 1 trade and 1 free agent signing, our 2026 starting rotation could be: 1.) crochet 2.) skenes 3.) cease 4.) bello 5.) dobbins houck, uberstine, drohan, tolle and early as depth!!!!

    Tolle went 4 innings today. He gave up 3 hits and one of the hits was a tater. He walked 1, gave up 2 earned run and struck out 5. He had 15 swing and misses on only 64 pitches!!!

    With Valera and Peaz going to the 60 dl, and the 60 day dl is already almost full with mostly pitchers, I think I see why hang’em Chaim was stockpiling only bats on our system!!! pitching is fragile and needing almost 2 years to recover from UCl surgery is brutal on a farm system But I do think bres-slow needs to balance his drafting going forward!! Or soon we will be position player deficient!! (Think our current catching situation in the minors! although signing quality free agent hitters is easier than quality free agent pitchers
