    I did not get to see Tolle pitch this afternoon!! But I did watch stock get lit up like a Christmas tree!!! Very ugly

    Wow !!! You are very optimistic I agree that Tolle or Valera could be major league starters, Valera has amazing stuff!! I am still not convinced about Tolle!!! (Maybe I am being too pessimistic??) I think Sandlin does better from the bullpen. It’s like if he has too much time to think about a start, he starts serving up meatballs!!! When you throw him in after he has been caught up watching the game, he tends to locate better!!! I honestly do not know if Clarke’s command and control will improve, but the stuff is already major league level

    At Worcester: Jordan with a tater and Garcia went 1 for 3! at Portland: Romero and ehrhard with a hit each.

    We would not have won any World Series this century unless we abandoned such archaic practices!!!! I do see a direct correlation between being World Series contenders with pitching and being cellar dwellers when hang’em Chaim let our pitchers leave in free agency and failed miserably to replace them!!!!!

    It is going to take pitching to get Ryan out of the twins dugout!! We got Fitts, Tolle and Clarke that should be on the twins radar already!!!

    Hang’em Chaim is the best talent evaluator of left handed hitters that I have ever seen!!!! He is truly a savant!!!! Too bad pitching is the most important part of baseball

    I think the key to a second half surge toward the post season is continued improvement from the starting rotation !!!

    Or tomorrow. Tolle develops forearm problems and spends the next two years recovering from UCL reconstruction. why do so people over value prospects??,,

    because the rest of the Phillies team is so much more superior to ours. Just look at their starting rotation for example.

    At Worcester: Harrison 5 innings, 4 earned runs. Two of the homers on meatballs (one off the slurve and one off the slider) Grissom 4 hits Garcia 2 hits Jordan with a hit. at Portland. Rivera with 6 innings and no earned runs. But 3 more walks. He is winkleman part 2!!!! Romero, erhard and tibbs with a hit each. At Greenville: blies with a tater. Yophary, arias and encarnacion with a hit each at Salem. Gonzalez and mussett each with 1 hit !!!

    I believe bres-slow did what was best for the team! And I applaud him for having the courage to make such a bold move!!! but while I think it had to be done, but I do believe communication was poor and the way bres-slow handled it was extremely sloppy!!! Bres-slow created excess drama and that excess drama hung around the team for an extended period of time!!!! I hope bres-slow has learned from this miscommunication!!!! but at the end of the day, moving Devers was the correct move!!! The return was appropriate given that San Francisco ate the whole contract!!!!!!

    I think bres-slow has the players and prospects available to pry Ryan from the twins and painter from the Phillies at the trade deadline!! desperate Dave needs an all-star outfielder and an all-star lefty reliever and an all-star third basemen to be a World Series team!!! We have those available. The twins will need a lot of near ready or ready prospects. We have a lot of that as well!
