    Ever since ESPN was caught red handed creating fake news in the deflate gate scandal, they have gone out of their way to anti Boston everything. They are just a sad and pathetic organization!

    Makes me wonder what would could have been if desperate Dave had not run off all th kids from the baseball operations department. Now we are left with a guy that does not listen to his scouts and does not have a plan for the short, intermediate or long term. I wonder what ownership thinks?

    Betts is a special player, but if your lead off hitter is getting on base, hitting taters and making things happen, you have a great chance to win those games (if your pitching is good.) if your lead off hitter hangs an “oh fer” on you, chances are your winning percentage is those games will be considerably lower. It doesn’t matter if that lead off hitter is Betts or anybody else.

    Kimbrel’s pitches are grabbing a lot of plate lately. Not sure he is mechanical right at this time.

    Watching my Vazquez and Leon contribute minimal offense game in and game out is so frustrating. Swihart’s timing is off due to lack of regular at bats. But I think he can hit. So we need to put him behind the plate for a few games and if he hits, we send Leon to the twins.

    Desperate dave should probably draft by throwing darts at a dart board. Because what he is doing now is beyond putrid! Ps: if houck ever learns to throw strikes, he could be our future closer. But the more realistic scenario is we cut him in a few years and Tampa claims him and he because an all star closer for them!

    Having a high payroll does not mean you have good players, just means you have expensive players. These last 25 games we have looked mediocre at best. Might be best for desperate dave to strap on a fresh depends diaper and start boxing up The personal items in his office! Swwweeeetttt!!!!!

    We don’t need to trade for another reliever, we have the bodies to have a really good bullpen now. Beeks needs to replace Johnson. In nine days we can bring back Velasquez. Maybe Maddox rehabs and is good to go by July.

    If the pitching and our health holds, we should be a playoff team this year. Velasquez has exceeded my expectations. Maybe he deserves a spot start or two from here on out.
