  1. Decker at 64. Baseball America has him ranked 110. Somebody must see something special in this kid to overdraft him.
  2. This kid is probably 2022 at he earliest. He is Dalbec part 2.
  3. With Rolison off the board, Sox look to take prep 1b casas.
  4. With Pomeranz, first things first. What is driving the velocity decrease? Injury? Mechanical problems? Loss of stuff? I think if his velocity is like last year, then he has a chance to repeat last year’s results. I mean, his 88 mph heater is not fooling too many hitters at the moment.
  5. He appears to be a guesser at the plate. When he guesses right on a fastball, he can send it a long way. When he guessed wrong or does not get a fastball, it can result in a lot of strikeouts. But he has worked his average up to .210 plus, so he is making more contact.
  6. Heard on the radio that the Yankees had a scout following kumar rocker, the Georgia high school pitcher.
  7. Heard the Sox have had a scout watching Walker Steele of Oklahoma. I still hope we Rolison falls to us at 26 and pilkington at 64. My sleeper pick for 100 is the reliever from tcu German felder. Throws mid 90’s and has a decent slider. He should skyrocket through the minors and be in the big leagues by September 2019 as a call up.
  8. Sturgeon with two taters for Pawtucket tonight. Rei with his 4th also.
  9. He has definitely reinvented himself with that cutter. Hopefully he throwing it for us late October/early November!
  10. I really hope this is a worst case scenario. The guy I saw at Pawtucket, was swinging the bat good and appeared to be pain free. Timing was off, but that is fixable. And again, it was way too early for him to be putting so much pressure on the surgically repaired knee and that is the fault of the crackerjack medical staff. Who besides us, fields a 200 million dollar roster and hires a 10 cent medical staff?
  11. Pedroia came back at least a month too soon. It isn’t that his body is breaking by down, it is that the knee is not healed and he pushed it too hard. I would think that our crackhead medical staff would know that pedroia will do whatever it takes to get back on the field and slow him down, for his own good!
  12. So glad we pulled a rabbit out of the hat tonight.
  13. Baseball is a game of adjustments and it is up devers to adjust to what pitchers are throwing him that has him looking terrible at the plate.
  14. I am very hopeful that LHp Rolison of ole miss falls to us in the first round. If all goes well, we follow it up with rhp pilkington of miss state in the second round.
  15. Castillo, witte, mars, and dalbec all with taters tonight. Dalbec’s was his 11th. Mars was his first.
  16. Ockimey with another tater tonight. Schreff threw a really good game tonight as well.
  17. Sale is just not right at the moment. He really needs to make better pitches. We desperately need him to be the ace.
  18. Pedroia our with left knee pain makes me think he came back too soon. Why do we fall for this year after year,
  19. The offense tonight was Missing Betts and Pedroia. I really hope Betts is not more seriously injured than we know. Sometimes our team medical staff, who got their degrees mail ordered from Mexico City, tends to miss diagnose our players.
  20. Beeks threw a very nice game tonight. Dalbec with his 10th tater tonight as well.
  21. Rodriguez is starting to put it all together. Fastball has location and movement and the secondary stuff is getting sharper,
  22. Not to throw water on your fiery passion for the team, but you do realize Pomeranz is going for us in the first game? Then sale has to deal with Cole and sale’s last game out was a bit of a turd.
  23. Shawaryn threw a nice game tonight. He really seems to have new hampshire’s Number.
  24. I know benintendi is swinging a nice bat lately, but I like seeing bogey in the two hole. Maybe when Betts gets back, hopefully very soon, we can experiment with benintendi in the five hole (protecting JD) and Keep bogey in the 2 hole.
