  1. Binelas with more walks than strikeouts thus far on the season.
  2. Winkleman with 4 innings, 9 strikeouts and zero runs!
  3. McDonough got his first tater of the season tonight. Hamilton stole his 8th bass of the season tonight. The kid is fast.
  4. Cassas with his 3rd tater of the season!
  5. Northcut with his first tater of the season!
  6. Absolutely, he needs the chance to grow. He will make mistakes, but if you believe in his stuff, you have to give him the chance to learn from then and get better.
  7. Binelas with his 3rd tater of the season! Renfro who?
  8. Maybe Cora should not send Crawford into the dumpster fire and just let him start an inning fresh!
  9. Been watching Mayer at the plate and last year, I was not drinking the cool-aid on him. This year, I am chugging the cool-aid. His swing is amazing. His timing is working and he has a plan at the plate. If Mayer keeps swinging the bat like this, he will force management to fast track him. Disclaimer: all things being equal, it is still only a week into the new season. I get it, small sample size and pitchers will start making adjustments.
  10. Jiminez with his first tater of the season.
  11. Cassas is a powerful kid!
  12. Kavadas with his first tater!
  13. Binelas with his second tater of the season,
  14. Bello is a beast! 10 strike outs in 5 innings. Zero runs allowed, Hamilton with 3 stolen bases thus far tonight.
  15. The ring is the thing!
  16. Last year Bradley hit .163, I think. Right now that must seem like mt Everest to him!
  17. Bradley and Hernandez have a combined batting average of zero! Brutal!
  18. Can Fitzgerald play right field?
  19. It is only going up from there. It is painful to watch Bradley at the plate. At what point does Hang’em Chaim introduce Bradley to the legendary city of Worcester?
  20. After the first series of the season Hamilton is hitting .500 with two taters, 7 RBI’s and 4 stolen bases. (Ops is 1.915) The speed is legit. We will have to wait and see on the bat and defense.
  21. This is a smart move by Hang’em Chaim. Hang’em Chaim is really stringing together quite a few good moves for the Boston club, improving the desolate post desperate Dave minor league system and making solid draft picks! He may not be a Ben cherrington when it comes to building a minor league system and he may not be a desperate Dave when it comes to stockpiling talent on the Boston roster, but when it comes to building a perennially solid team with organizational depth, he appears to be almost as good as Theo! I say we keep letting him drive the bus. I like where we are headed.
  22. Fitzgerald’s path might depend on aruaz and how he swings the bat. Of course either is only an unfortunate injury or hit batsman away from Fenway.
  23. I was on houck as the closer since the day he was drafted. Being a starter with two pitches is tough! I am sure he and his agent want him to be a starter. However, if he gets the assassin attitude, he would be lethal as a two pitch closer!
  24. Mayer’s first series of the year was impressive. He hit .538 (1.230 ops) with 6 RBI’s.
  25. Definitely a situation to keep monitoring. My question is why does Cordero seem to lose his confidence and hit so poorly in Boston. Yet he is really confident and hits well in Worcester!
