  1. If Fitzgerald gets an elevated pitch, he is going to hammer it!
  2. If Oakland does indeed have manaea on the trade block, there is going to be massive competition from many other teams for him.
  3. After we get through with the cupcakes to start the year, we run into a ten game meat grinder starting on the 19th. Could be uglier than a Steinbrenner family reunion!
  4. We have a serious number of players to evaluate, cut or keep. These next two weeks are going to be interesting! Hang’em Chaim needs to make us proud!
  5. Devers is a cornerstone of this organization and should be extended. Hang’em Chaim just needs to sign the kid and end the suspense.
  6. We got done great pitching today, sans hartlieb.
  7. Is there any market for Austin Davis!
  8. D Hernandez looked good today. If he can throw strikes, he can have a monster season!
  9. At least Fitzgerald is hitting. I have not gotten to see cassas yet. Ps: Bradley looking like Bradley and smelling really bad!
  10. Our pitching thus far this spring has been very impressive.
  11. Who would have rather had Hang’em Chaim spend big on Rodriguez instead of story?
  12. I like story in the number 2 hole better than devers.
  13. Regardless of what bogey does after the 2022 season, we just need him to have a great 2022 season. He and devers are the cornerstones of our organization and a great season from them will is a must if we are going to command the American League East!
  14. Depending on the depth of regression from Martinez, we could see cassas sooner rather than later.
  15. So against right handed pitching verdugo plays right field?
  16. I think you guys are over estimating what Bradley brings to the table. His bat is terrible. He is literally frozen stiff by anything pitched inside. He will regress to a late inning defensive replacement type guy! Putrid hitter.
  17. You graduated from the university of Mexico City? Is it true the diplomas from there are written with invisible ink?
  18. Duran brings a dynamic sorely missing on our roster, pure speed. Given that Bradley can not hit beach balls, let alone base balls anymore, and will be used as a late inning defensive replacement only by June, my guess is Duran needs to be on the 26 and has a chance to be playing regularly by June!
  19. Every day arroyo gets out of bed without injuring himself is a miracle unto itself! The guy bruises easier than bananas.
  20. I am a big fan of hickey and binelas. The kid from nc state looked really good as well late last season!
  21. I agree that dalbec should have a sophomore leap and I think he can get to .575. Bogey should be killing it from day 1, as he can make a fortune if he kills it this year. Look for his numbers to be better then last year all the way around! Bradley is a huge defensive improvement over Renfro in right field, but his bat his really bad. He is so afraid of pitches on the inside part of the plate, that it has locked up his ability to hit. Hernandez, I agree should be better this year after having seen the league last year. Arroyo, Shaw and Duran, I don’t know that we can count on them for much of anything this year. Cassas is a wild card. He probably will not hit for power, but he will get on base and drive in runs. When does make his debut in Fenway? Can dalbec and arroyo split time at second base when cassas does arrive? Not mentioned, but very important is what kind of regression do we see from Martinez. His bat speed fell off a noticeable bit last year and that will continue this year!
  22. If dalbec has a sophomore leap, theoretically he could pick up some of the slack caused by the loss of monster bat schwarber and mediocre bat Renfro. How does this lineup replace the rest of the missing production?
  23. Hope is never a good strategy! Offensively, we lost a monster bat in schwarber and a mediocre bat in Renfro. We have added a superior defender, but a terrible bat, in Bradley. Bradley is an “0 for” hitter. Zero hits for almost every at bat. We desperately need another strong infield right handed hitter to balance this line up.
