  1. This is a smart move by Hang’em Chaim. Hang’em Chaim is really stringing together quite a few good moves for the Boston club, improving the desolate post desperate Dave minor league system and making solid draft picks! He may not be a Ben cherrington when it comes to building a minor league system and he may not be a desperate Dave when it comes to stockpiling talent on the Boston roster, but when it comes to building a perennially solid team with organizational depth, he appears to be almost as good as Theo! I say we keep letting him drive the bus. I like where we are headed.
  2. Fitzgerald’s path might depend on aruaz and how he swings the bat. Of course either is only an unfortunate injury or hit batsman away from Fenway.
  3. I was on houck as the closer since the day he was drafted. Being a starter with two pitches is tough! I am sure he and his agent want him to be a starter. However, if he gets the assassin attitude, he would be lethal as a two pitch closer!
  4. Mayer’s first series of the year was impressive. He hit .538 (1.230 ops) with 6 RBI’s.
  5. Definitely a situation to keep monitoring. My question is why does Cordero seem to lose his confidence and hit so poorly in Boston. Yet he is really confident and hits well in Worcester!
  6. Joe Davis with his first tater for Greenville.
  7. Cordero with his third tater today for Worcester.
  8. Binelas of Greenville with his first tater of the year.
  9. Baldwin of Worcester with his first tater of the year.
  10. Walter was spectacular today in the mound. 5 innings and only one hit, no walks and no runs.
  11. Gettys making the transition from position player to pitcher had a decent outing today.
  12. Rafeala with his second tater of the season.
  13. Lugo with his first tater of the season. Meises with his second tater of the season .
  14. Blaze Jordan with his first tater if the season in the 6th.
  15. Fair enough!
  16. Mayer 2 for 3 thus far today with 3 RBI’s,
  17. He was on his way to getting shelled in the second before he started commanding his pitches.
  18. Maybe “dumpster fire” is a better description!
  19. Cordero with 2 taters, downs with a tater and mienese with a tater. Cassas 2 for 3 thus far.
  20. Winkowski got his command going in the second inning and really threw well for the next three innings. He was so bad in the first and early second inning that I thought he was going to get mauled, my bad.
  21. Wincowski being mauled tonight! Cassas with the only hit for Worcester tonight thus far!
  22. Fitzgerald with two more taters tonight. R Ramos has a tater as well. Seabold did not make it to three innings.
  23. Worcester wins another one run game. 3 taters including one by cassas. Feltman with a clean 9th.
  24. Cassas with his first tater of the season. Cordero with one as well.
  25. Fitzgerald with the first Sox minor league tater last night, Sanchez could have the second tater as he hit one early tonight.
