I smell a huge opportunity for hang’em Chaim to get us back under the cap and keep restocking the farm.

My tech guys at work created a program for me. I had offered 10k to the guy who could make it happen. It took four of them less than a day to do it. Been working fairly well thus far. Most of the times it picks up the opponents taters as well as ours, which is how I knew bello was serving up meatballs.

Hang’em Chaim is going to want some high value prospects. Whatever team gets bogey is going for it all so it is doubtful they part with much off their current roster.

Bello done for the day. Five innings, two hits (both of them meatballs he served up) one walk and 8 strikeouts. In his two starts, he has looked dominant!

Early season observation #1. Seems like there has been an organizational philosophy change in pitching this season. Maybe it is less nibbling and more of just straight going after batters. Mistakes be darned, get after it and have a short memory! A second observation. Something has changed defensively with the catchers. I have not figured it out yet, it is affecting the pitchers effectiveness! We are not as passive defensively as last year. Even if nothing has changed, early results are encouraging.

Bello with 7 strike outs through four innings. No walks, the one hit he gave up was a meatball that he served up. Portland down 1-0 thus far!

Lugo is on fire early. He had another 4 hits today! Rafeala and lugo helping Greenville out score opponents.

Isn’t groome’s velocity way down from pre Tommy John levels. Looks like he is at 90-91 now on the fastball now. As opposed to 95-96 pre injury.
