    If Henry wasn't so DAMN CHEAP we could have simply signed a FA closer rather than the need to trade another of our top prospects for one. Hell I'd just resign Jansen at this point than trade Mayer but of course Jansen is too expensive for Ebenezer Henry

    This thread was started on Dec 11th and now on Jan 19th still no extension for Crochet. Does anyone actually believe John [ Ebenezer] Henry will actually approve the cost of what it will take to extend Crochet?? If you do I have property to sell you................

    Breslow needs to focus on relievers who will accept a 1 yr deal which is the orders from above. Thankfully there are a long list of such scrubs still available.

    once again the FO has sold RSN down the river this off season. Yes they may have added to the rotation but they have generally refused to buck up to improve this team. It is going to be very interesting to see if they can extend Crochet. Personally I doubt it.

    we have know for a long time but just didn't want to face up to it that the Sox wanted to go with the cheap young talent over the high priced talent.

    Bloom was a disaster although John Henry has to shoulder A LOT of the blame

    this will be his age 26 year. If Henry doesn't buck up for at least a 5 yr extension on Crochet he NEVER will and we will continue to look at 1 and 2 [max} yr deals on SP.
