    i just looked and Sale pitched 298 innings from 2019 thru 2023. so ...the Sox trade him because he was always hurt. during the same time frame, James Paxton pitches even fewer innings -268. so....the Sox sign him. and then he gets hurt. LOLOLOLOLOL...the front office idiots don't know if they're coming or going.

    as soon as Masa got up to bat, i told my wife "i bet you $10 grand he grounds out to second". LOL. she was smart enough to not take it. good thing Ref got the job done. nice win.

    i'd say they're special in that they have no f***ing idea how to evaluate pitching talent, as they're organization from top to bottom is lacking in TOTR pitchers.

    if DD was the GM, he would trade Mayer or whoever to add pitching. and then he would be absolutely roasted for "decimating the farm". DD knows what it takes to win. Bloom didn't and i wonder about Brez.

    i talked to an old guy (older than me) at Dickey-Stephens Park (Mariners AA affiliate) the other night. He saw my Red Sox shirt and said he HAD BEEN a lifelong fan...until Henry got rid of Betts. he said that decision made him so mad, he literally stopped giving a s*** about anything Red Sox. f*** 'em he said. i'm sure he's not the only one out there.

    the pitching staff finally turned into the pumpkin we all thought it would at the beginning of the season, despite Bailey's best efforts, i think the magic has worn off.

    yeah, i just don't see them making the playoffs despite the foundation of a very good offense. the pitching is the problem and just flat out f***ing sucks. and the FO doesn't give a s***.
