    this is, again, insane, if that's the way he thinks. teams like the Dodgers go out and get what they need when they need it and try to improve the team every chance they get. they don't wait until a bunch of suspects might or might not make the show. f***ing insane.

    only used for the challenges. they started the season using them on every pitch, but about half-way thru the season, all agreed that using 3 challenges would be a better way to go. i think all are happy with it. and the review is almost instantaneous -no long delay like NFL reviews.

    yes. each team is allowed 3 INCORRECT challenges per game. you get as many as you want if you get them right. only the batter, catcher or pitcher may contest the call. it works freakin' great and eliminates the ******** calls by the umps.

    i'd rather give up Mayer than Anthony. and i'd rather have Kirby than Gilbert. Seattle has a number of young pitchers in their organization but they lack hitters -sort of the opposite of the Red Sox.
