It was Scherzer’s shortest outing since facing just one batter while pitching for Washington on June 11, 2021, before leaving with an injury.

you're right, nobody viewed him as "the one", but i can tell you this: some suspects in Low A damn sure aren't "the one".

i was upset about it. to me, starting pitchers are far more valuable than some Low A "suspects".

you forget that Seattle also has Julio Rodriguez. his 6.4 bWAR is ahead of Ohtani and only trails Judge, Perdomo and teammate Raleigh.

you forgot to note that to make matters even worse, the geniuses in the Sox front office also paid $17 million of Sale's salary for his first year in Atlanta. so.....think about this: Brezlow has traded Sale and Devers for nothing. a monkey could do a better job than these clowns.

suprisingly, they're not first. they are actually 13th in the league with 1042 LOB. The Braves are first with about 1080.

you forgot to mention that he traded starting pitcher Quinn Priester for a couple of low-level minor leaguers and a draft pick. Priester is currently 13-2 with a higher WAR than Bello. stupid doesn't begin to describe the trade. nice job, Brez.

we should offer Arizona the same pile of crap we got for Devers. -
and we took the absolutely worthless Jordan Hicks and his $12.5 million a year for this and the next two years. we were robbed.

I get it and i know Devers was a selfish, overpaid, POS, but we should have gotten better players in trade.
