  1. I believe the Red Sox are quite far down the list when it comes to payroll spending to revenue.
  2. Sportrac has Arendo at $21M for 2026, and $16M for 2027, and LT is $25.5M.
  3. At one time it was the best roster possible, but now I’d say it’s the latter.
  4. Agree on that. I get the concept of trading bad contract for bad contract, but it has to be a fit for both teams.
  5. I don’t know if the Red Sox would want a 35 yr old 3B in decline for the next two years, and I don’t know if Bloom would want Masa for the 2nd time.
  6. Even though he made it through healthy last year there is always the worry of Story staying healthy too.
  7. I don’t think Duran was floated around, because of payroll problems with Masa, but for getting some starting pitching. Ryan, at the time, and then Greene. I don’t know if Duran was floated around for Marte, or not, but trading Duran would not be because Masa is still on the team. Don’t worry. Brez will have it all figured out.
  8. I’m not even counting on Mayer as a good plan B until he can stay healthy, so you might be right about two infielders if they don’t go from within.
  9. I’m fine with keeping Duran, but you still got a log jam in the OF with Masa still on the team.
  10. I think Bregman is still plan A, but who knows after that. Mayer is the fallback at 2B-3B if nothing else comes together.
  11. There are reports out there that Brez is asking for more than teams want to pay.
  12. No no! Weird used to be on at midnight with Eddie Driscoll playing Uncle Gory. That was WEIRD.😉
  13. Maximum value for Duran would have come better last offseason, and not this offseason.
  14. I don’t know which pitching suspect would be better, but Seattle’s is a switch pitcher.
  15. Seems like Donavan is drawing more interest every day with Seattle, and San Fran. The report is Seattle is willing to include top pitching suspect.
  16. I don’t know if I ever suggested a trade period. I have suggested signing FA like Jansen, who the Red Sox signed a year later, and I said I would have signed Alonso before the signings started taking place, but I’m not into the suggested trade business. I did suggest trading Duran last offseason when his value was highest, but no specific trade.
  17. While it’s true it started when I first come on here when I said I wouldn’t have hired Cora back, because of the cheating scandal, and MOOn analyzed wrong, and called me a hater, and yes he did apologize, but still continues to not only over analyze, but continues to get most analysis wrong.
  18. What fun would that be to suggest trades that actually happens when it’s so much easier to play make believe, which never happens. PRICELESS!🙈
  19. All the other teams, and that’s why they never happen despite what BTV accepts. Try the hat, because most likely you may get one that actually happens. Sure can’t get any worse.🤫
  20. Or more importantly never happened.👍👍👍
  21. Plus he was only 3-21 in Sept after coming back off the injured list, so not much of a mystery why Abreu didn’t play especially against Fried, and Rodon. Also Duran played most of the time, and Abreu didn’t pretty much for the past few years against LHP.
  22. As I’ve said before the Red Sox missed, and could of used Raffy’s bat.
  23. You do realize that if you drew names out of a hat you’d have just as much a chance of an actual trade happening as consulting BTV?🤓
  24. Good for Ref Man. He got $6.5M When he had never gotten more than $2.1M from the Red Sox, or anyone else.
