  1. Agree. Lots of contract decisions have to be made the next two years, and Devers has to be paid sooner than later.
  2. Would you trade Bogey if you knew he was going to opt out?
  3. Evol is the man I would want to start the series.
  4. Way to complicated. I don’t see them trading JD, or resigning Schwaber. I believe Renfroe is still arbitration eligible, and it is not like they have all these spare outfielders to get rid of Renfroe, or Verdugo, so trade them for what? You still don’t know what Bogey’s plans are after next year. Outside of Casas there isn’t much waiting in the wings. Either way there is all kinds of questions to be answered, but I still see JD back for his last year, and Schwaber gone. I’ve seen enough of both of them in the field.
  5. Casas will be coming sooner than later too.
  6. I don’t worry what Toronto, or the Yankees are doing. The Sox are 2 games up in the loss column, so all they have to do is take care of their own business, and it won’t matter what the other teams do. Take 2 this weekend, and everything will be fine.
  7. There is only room, or money enough for one of either Schwaber, or JD. Even though JD will get 100 rbi again it doesn’t seem like he has had a good of year. Schwaber is younger, but I don’t know if the Sox want to invest big money in a DH again. Money has to be spent on the rotation, and I don’t know if that includes E Rod.
  8. Ok he hits this pitcher real well.
  9. I think Schwarber’s contribution has been a little overrated since coming to Boston, and that Bobby D, and Renfroe have better stats than Schwaber since his arrival.Schwaber’s first home run in almost 3 weeks.
  10. Bobby D should not be sitting for either JD, or Schwaber, and neither should Renfroe.
  11. Can’t even get through 5🙈.
  12. JD, or Schwaber should have sat tonight. Not Renfroe.
  13. Lot of questions to be answered after the season. Schwaber Is only 28, and JD is 34, and only has 1 more year if he stays, which I think he will, so I don’t think they will pay Schwaber. Do you lockup Renfroe is another question, and you still have to worry what Bogey will do in a few years. That is a bigger question, and sooner, or later Devers has to be paid some big bucks.
  14. I’m surprised the bullpen has any arms left.
  15. Thanks for clearing that up.
  16. We don’t need 2 DH’s, and JD won’t get any big contract offer, so he won’t opt out, and even if Bobby D got traded he is not a fit at first.
  17. Can you really trust Sale, or Evoldi in a playoff game, and even if good to go more than five??
  18. Let’s not forget the starter only going 5 is also to blame.
  19. Whitlock had to leave the game. Hope it is nothing serious.
  20. Another 5 inning start by a RedSox starter. Unacceptable at best.
  21. Schwaber, and JD whomever is going best at the time should just DH.
  22. Today’s lineup is the Sox best lineup outside of the DH where JD, and Schwann you can flip.
  23. If we face 2 lefties the way everyone is going now I don’t think Bobby D should be the odd man out, but there is still time to sort this all out, and a lot could change between now, and then.
  24. What a stupid way to end the season at a NL park, which means no DH.
