If you’re saying all the hype, and expectations that was thrown Anthony’s way was to soon before he established himself, which many did here, there, and everywhere then I agree.

I agree 100%. RAF Man to 2B might be a solution, but not an ideal one. Of the 3 between Story, Mayer, and Durbin none have established himself with the bat, but I don’t see Cora benching Story. At least now.

You only post wildcard standings when they are in still in it by your estimation, and stop when they aren’t.

I’m not a Merloni fan, because he’s a yucker, but all the analysts were saying the same think yesterday about Duran should be playing everyday, and leading off.

I guess Merloni doesn’t know what he’s talking about either when he also said during the game that he thinks Duran should be playing everyday also. He also said he’d like to see him in that leadoff spot tomorrow. They even talked about it on the postgame with Rice, and Middlebrooks. Middlebrooks said to put him in the leadoff spot, and let him go for a week, so I guess they must have a great idea too.🤫

I’m not debating that Duran hasn’t sucked so far, but all I’m saying is that he played enough baseball to have shown he better than what he’s shown so far.

The expected was that Mayer wouldn’t start the game tonight. I didn’t know anyone was debating if Mayer was a better defender, or not. I’m certainly not. I guess it’s just another one of your I don’t agree with Cora things, but you don’t think he’s wrong when you really do.

Possibly, but at the very least pure speculation. Posters on here were expecting a lot more from Anthony from what he shown so far. One even asked how high his ceiling is. Right now he’s closer to the floor than any ceiling.

Definitely? He would have to get the bat off his shoulder, and stop watching all those called 3rd strikes go by first.
