  1. ND is ranked pretty high with having an inexperienced QB. Starting the season at Miami will be an tough opener even if they had an experienced QB, so I don’t see this as being an easy season.
  2. I agree. I started out with Curt Gowdy, Ned Martin, and Ken Coleman watching the Red Sox so everyone since has below their standards to me. Hawk Harrelson didn’t have a great voice either.
  3. Great job by the gals last night. I’ve heard Emma many times, so she wasn’t new to me. It was a Good break away from OB, and the Yuckers.👍👍👍.
  4. I could care less about 2026 until 2025 is over just like in 2024 about 2025, and 2023 about 2024, and 2022 about 2023.
  5. 4 years in a row now you’ve been more concerned about tomorrow than today, and tomorrow has never been guaranteed.
  6. Mayer, Anthony, and Campbell are still highly suspect SUSPECTS. I should have said the starting lineup on a nightly bases is more journeyman , and the suspects, and Duran being closer to the Butterfly Man.
  7. Agree. The 3 year deal he has now is long enough, which would be his 31,32, and 33 years. Bregman got off to a great start unlike last year, and many were all in on that. It would have been interesting to see how he would have ended up if he had stayed healthy. Of course he won’t have Raffy in front of him now.
  8. Next year’s talent? The team is mostly journeyman, and highly suspect SUSPECTS, or players like Duran who have dwarfed back closer to being the Butterfly Man than the player from last year. This is year 4 now that the Red Sox from JH on down have peed on you, and all the fans, and told you it was raining, and you still haven’t put on a raincoat, and you still want to wait longer to buy one.🤭
  9. I agree. Bregman got off to a good start, but even with him, and Raffy driving in a bunch of runs after Raffy got straightened out early in the season the Red Sox were still nothing more than a 500 team. Bregman will be 32 next season, and he’s still got 2 more years on his contract if he wants it. If not let him go. The team is not going nowhere until they get better pitching.
  10. Still wha, wha, wha!😂😂😂. So now Cora is chicken. There is statements out there on why Cora didn’t approach Devers about playing 1B, but where is your proof that Cora was chicken?🤔 Your head is always spinning just like the Red Sox. It just just cracks me up that so many think Devers at 1B was a good baseball move.🤭
  11. True, and I’m fully aware that Cora could be doing nothing more than playing good cop out front, but behind the scenes could be saying, and doing things completely different.
  12. What words did I put in Cora’s mouth?Cora has said that he didn’t talk to Raffy about playing 1B, and wasn’t going to. That’s a fact. According to Shaugnessy Cora told him that the reason he didn’t talk to Raffy about playing 1B was, because he didn’t think Raffy would be good at 1B. That’s also a fact. what facts do you have to contradict either one. Don’t you you think Cora would have wanted Raffy at 1B if he thought that was what’s best for the team. The fact that he didn’t even approach Raffy about it should say everything unless you want to look in a completely different direction.
  13. Brez no doubt saw Raffy as a problem especially when Raffy told him to do his job, and JH no doubt saw this as a chance to get out from beneath that Raffy contract.
  14. I think Cora has favorites, but everyone gets playing time.
  15. I agree to a point, but the authority piece is where I have the big hang up. Brez wanted Raffy at 1B, but Cora did not, so to say it was a big problem could be stretching things. Cora did not see Raffy at 1B as being what’s best for the team, and to me that was strictly a baseball decision. As I’ve said before that if Cora had wanted Raffy at 1B I would completely agree with you, but it appears he didn’t, and maybe Cora told Raffy that, and that’s why Raffy went at Brez like he did. Just a thought.
  16. The whole crux of the matter, which I’ve thought from Day 1 is that Cora did not like the idea of Raffy at 1B, which according to Shaugnessy Cora told Shaugnessy exactly that. Now if Cora thought it would have been a good idea to put Raffy at 1B I could see going half hard ass on Raffy, but not to the point of threatening with the pine.
  17. It’s my answer, and I’m sticking to it.🤓
  18. For all intents, and purposes JH is really Cora’s boss, so let’s start there. Nazi soldiers?🤭🙈. I said in the beginning that when Raffy signed his contract he was promised by the RED SOX he would be the Red Sox 3B for the foreseeable future, and that’s what Raffy went on. In the very beginning Cora said he wasn’t surprised by Raffy’s reaction, and neither was I when Raffy was told he had to move off 3B. It shouldn’t have surprised anyone else either, but it sure did. I didn’t think the Red Sox would move Raffy off 3B this soon, but Brez changed that. I had no problem with Raffy moving to DH, but only with the way it was handled. I also thought any idea of moving Raffy to 1B was a bad move any time I heard it not only this year, but past years as well, which was often on here. Like I said if you go by JH is really Cora’s boss it changes every thing.
  19. I keep answering the question, and you keep over analyzing. Why? I already said it would never be a blanket yes, or no answer to me, and it would depend on the situation.
  20. #1 I wasn’t even talking about today’s discussion, and we had the insubordination discussion days ago when I said Raffy hadn’t been insubordinate, because Cora never even talked about moving to 1B with Raffy. I also know what insubordinate means, and for the final time Raffy was doing what was best for the team being the DH.
  21. I’ve already answered this. In this case yes. Brez, you, and all the others who thought putting Raffy at 1B was a good idea I think it was a bad idea , and so apparently so did Cora. A different time in a different situation I might give a different answer, but it would never be a blanket yes, or no.
  22. Bad names? I know you did say he was insubordinate.
  23. As I’ve said many times I’m not a cheerleader like you, and there is nothing wrong with being one, so I don’t post as much when things are going good, but while it may be true I post more when things are going bad it’s also true that for 4 years in a row now things have been bad more times than things have been good, so it’s all in context if you add it all up.
