  1. I don’t think RAF Man was in high demand, and Bres probably was asking too much.
  2. Sooner, or later this will work themselves out hopefully. It’s not like Duran is tearing up the baseball. I don’t see any trades happening now outside of an injury. Duran’s rumors were for pitching last year, or an infielder this year, but didn’t happen. I don’t think he would have been traded for suspects, or just to open up a spot.
  3. Mayer is still pretty suspect with the bat.
  4. Always trying to polish something that polish doesn’t stick to.🤮👋
  5. The Red Sox have got to take baby steps like win the next game, and then win a few more, and then get to 500 before they start talking playoffs, which seems a long way off at the present time. Playoffs? Did someone say playoffs?
  6. Con Man skipped the media a few nights except for last night when he had his own fish to fry. Seems like Anthony has turned out to be one of the spokesmen lately good, or bad.
  7. Disfunction it is, and if the Red Sox lose another game tonight with Cro Man on the mound, and look like a Little League team doing it JH will hear a lot more of sell the team and maybe do more than roll his eyes this time.
  8. Ah 3.5 your favorite number today. 3.5 in itself is not that big a number especially with 150 games left, but having to climb over every other team in the league makes it a harder situation to do.🤔
  9. I agree, and I agree with Fred’s cheap thinking analysis even though the payroll itself may say something different.
  10. I think it was more about not wanting to pay then forgetting.
  11. Home opener for the Sea Dogs today, but it’s snowing in Portland at the moment.
  12. Given up yet? I really haven’t even started. I say the same thing around this same time every year that the Red SOx are on the back burner to me, because there is to much else going on. March Madness just finished, and the Bruins, and Celtics will be starting the playoffs soon not to mention the NFL draft, so I haven’t watched much of the Red Sox. I have to rely on some of the objective posters on here like Fred to keep me informed of what’s going on outside of looking at the box scores, but when I get into really watching I’ll let you know. Are the Red Sox as bad a team as their record suggests??? Most likely not, but at the moment by all accounts they look worse.
  13. I heard an interview with the Sea Dogs manager today talking about Mayer, and he said even though he played Mayer more at SS when he was at Portland he thought Mayer would be a better 3B.
  14. I already have. The Red Sox are dysfunctional, and unreliable, which is predictable. I answer how I want to, and not how you want me to. Worst record in all of baseball, and behind EVERY OTHER team in the league for any postseason spot. It seems you can’t handle the truth.
  15. The Fact is we are not 3.5 games behind looking okay, and things looking worse by the day. In other words DUP. Disfunction, Unreliable, and Predictable.
  16. Agree. The record at 2-8 is bad enough, but how they’ve looked doing it looks even worse.
  17. Let’s remember they had Anthony out before a game last year after he was called up teaching him how to field ground balls in the outfield.
  18. It seems once again the Little League kids that Cora does commercials with snuck on the field to play D for the Red SOx. Bad throws, pitches not backing up bases again and just bad fundamental baseball, which we’ve seen many times before. That’s on Cora.🙈
  19. I didn’t see the game last night, but it looks like the boys actually hit something with their bats last night. On the other hand the pitching, and D pretty much sucked, and another loss ensued. What’s up with Anthony? Seems like he’s developed Johnny Damon arm.
  20. 152 games to go, and the Red Flops as Fred calls them on on pace for 120+ losses, and since the Red Flops has the worst record in all of baseball that means EVERY TEAM in the league is ahead of them in any standings you want to look at. Come on man!🤮
  21. You haven’t given up already have you?🤔
  22. It will be interesting to see if Masa is in the lineup tonight after getting 3 hits yesterday, or if he’ll be back on the bench. Abreu needs to move up in the order. Story needs a timeout, or two.
