    Good post. I agree with some, but not much. Outside of the 27-3 run the Red Sox were not an exciting club, or even a good club. Yes Crochet was lost, but if you’re referring to little Anthony as the most important offensive player I strongly disagree there. He had plenty of hype, and expectations, but those don’t always pan out as this one didn’t. Agree on the playoffs were dreadful, but from all the fans I talked too, and heard on the airwaves most of pissed on how Tracy handled the pitching decisions, and don’t care who the game plan came from it was Tracy who made the actual moves being a puppet, or not. I said before the season the Red Sox took the cheaper way out, and we’d see how things would work out. bresLOW lowballed Alonso, and went to a cheaper option in Con Man. He lowballed Bregman to start with, and then negotiations fell apart from there, and went to a much cheaper option in DUBin. Then we get to the 5 inning $130M man who was turned to after Bregman bolted, which was cheaper, and didn’t even pitch 1 inning in the postseason. A defeating end to a torturous season I Agee. Playoffs? Did someone say playoffs?

    True enough. The Red Sox went on that extended streaking adventure with a bunch of P&P players. It was never going to be sustainable.

    What was Dick Tracy’s record on either side of the Red Sox going streaking? Not all that impressive, and especially his 2 game cameo appearance in the postseason.🤔

    It was a unexplained once in a lifetime magic carpet ride in a league that was the weakest i have seen in my lifetime that saved the season, and got the Red SOX into the postseason, but on either side of that magic 27-3 run the team wasn’t really that good, and finished the postseason with a lineup that wasn’t any better than what finished last year, and the results was the same too with a feeble attempt in losing in a quick 2 game exit. In the first 7 years of JH ownership the team averaged 90+wins, and won 2 WS. The last 8 years the team has averaged 76 wins, and now are just happy, and popping champagne corks just to back into the postseason in a weakened league. What a low bar the team has now set, and obviously some fans.🤔

    Oh no say it ain’t so! Not just attacking, but mercilessly attacking certain players, managers, GMs, and owners. Those sound like a criminal offenses🤫. As for little Anthony it had to be his pinky finger, because the way I heard it he injured the finger doing a pinky swear with Mayer.

    I heard a good discussion today by David Samson who basically said that Tracy didn’t have to look up, and watch the game, and all he had to do was look down, and look at his paper when he took Gray out. Of course Gray was never a made aware of the plan, and neither was TOll Man. It was not a Master plan for sure. It also seems that the Red Sox players are not to in tuned with Brez, and his computers.

    Exactly. Crochet wasn’t healthy enough to throw any rehab innings, but was healthy enough to begin his rehab in the postseason?🤔

    That’s the difference. He had minor league starts which was 4 to be exact, and 15.2 innings. NOchet had NOTHING, which makes it unprecedented.

    I agree except for the selling off as fruitful, and as embarrassing as the post season turned out.

    NOchet shouldn’t even have been on the roster to begin with. His situation was unprecedented. Whitlock ended up being garbage, but he was definitely a better option than Miller the time, and both times.

    I know many people believe analytics have made sports better, but I think it’s just the opposite, so I agree with what you said.

    He was most importantly a dam good pitcher especially in the postseason, and that’s what he was worth, and that’s why Theo spent Thanksgiving with him to get him.

    So Tracy is just a robot puppet I agree with. Why do it now with Gray with the season on the line with Miller for the second failed time?

    So with the season on the line, and your best pitcher on the mound, and something the Red Sox hadn’t done all year long it was time for Sonny Gray who had only thrown 71 pitches to come out, and bring in the always reliable Miller Time, because he was a better, and best option?

    You think? You still think Miller Time was the best option both times in a 1-0 game? Was it because he had pitched so well the last two weeks of the season?🤮
