    Tolle needs to stay in Woo, and to keep stretched out if they are counting on him to be a starter this year. Cora has already said Masa will get plenty of playing time, so the most likely way will be musical chairs for the outfield outside of an injury, or trade. Cora said last night he’s going to use all his players. Masa is just not going to be a backup DH.

    Story no doubt wore down at the end of last season. It had been quite a while since he pretty much played a full season.

    Durbin being ok is fine as long as the rest of the lineup produces, but he won’t put up numbers like all the others that could have been, or mentioned as being in the lineup instead. Raffy, Bregman, Paredes, or Marte, and there was more, but Durbin was a CHEAP option after Bregman went bye bye.

    Ranger not only replaced Bregman, but Durbin replaced Bregman also.

    What was discussed yesterday on another site was why would Milwaukee get rid of Durbin so quickly if he was so good especially being young, and cheap.

    Right now the lumber is in a slumber, and they pretty much only have one bat as it is. It will get better.

    Well they started 1-4 last year, so no big deal in this early stage yet even though they don’t look very good.

    Well said. Con Man, and Durbin aren’t most of these, and time will tell on the results of not getting some of the ones you listed instead.

    I didn’t say I didn’t like it, and that’s why I said draw names out of a hat you might get the same, or better results. Of course it was taken that way, and some went off half cocked. The problem to me in this early stage is the batters racking up k’s, and leaving runners on base.

    I think this shows your point very well. Overall stats can be very misleading unless you actually see all that added up to those stats.

    All the focus? K’s, and runners in scoring position BA is a focus to me. Draw names out of a hat.

    All this focus on the BO like that’s a big problem. 15k’s the other day wasn’t, because of the BO, but the batters themselves. You can get all the geeks, and nerds together all you want, or just draw names out of a hat that could give you the same results.
