Silly? If the Yankees fired Boone, and offered the job to Cora I think Cora would love to stick it to the Red Sox, and what better way to do it than in a Yankee uniform. San Fran was listening to, and gauging offers for Raffy before the last trade deadline, so I don’t think that moving him would be that far fetched.

That’s 37-98. I think San Fran would like to get out from underneath that contract, and I’m pretty sure the Yankees would love to have Raffy Yo think Raffy could’ve, and would’ve helped the Red Sox against the Yankees the last two postseasons especially in Yankee Stadium?🤔

You can war all you want, but it’s still DUBin 13-64, and Raffy 37-98 or Bregman 28-93. It will be even better math when Raffy goes to the Yankees

As it turned out yes, but if those two 1 run ballgames had been different when Dick Tracy went to his playbook by scoring more runs both teams would have played things differently. Lack of run production was huge.
  5. Old Red
Nothing on the market like last year, so he’ll have to trade.

You must have run out of cheese by now with all that whine you’re still doing. I’ll repeat again DUBin 13-64, and Raffy 37-93.

And power outage played a big part in everything around that 32-5, and the early exit from the postseason for the second year in a row.

    Justified just like Devers.
  9. Old Red
It all depends on how he does next year if there is a next year if the Red Sox will pick up that option for 28. They have to pay him $7.5M anyway.

The Red Sox had their chance last offseason with Alonso. I wonder if they would have known at the time they lowballed him that they wasn’t going to get Bregman if they would have made him a better offer?🤔

Clemens was only a 500 pitcher his last 4 years in Boston, and then he got a lot better in Toronto at age 34, and NY. I’d say it was amazing, but it really wasn’t.🤫

I agree. Damon still had some good years left after the Red Sox get away. That was on them.
  13. Old Red
    Who went to the Yankees.
  14. Old Red
You lost me on that one.

Back in the day it was Eddie Andleman, and the Sports Babe and their cast of characters.
  16. Old Red
I only know of the mega guys like Dick from Dayton.

The Red Sox couldn’t even beat a Judgeless team, and the Yankees couldn’t beat Tampa with a Judgeless team.
  18. Old Red
Yankees are now out, and Boonie is now 27-30 in his postseason managerial career. Fire him. Sign Cora, and trade for Raffy. 🤫

Sam spends a long time working on his speech.
  20. Old Red
I thought that was Joe from Burger King?🤔
  21. Old Red
As a player yes. As folklore goes no.
  22. Old Red
I start with the Big Jab myself.
  23. Old Red
CON Man stays, as does little pinky Anthony. Next.😂😂😭

HR, and RBI produce runs, which I agree leads to wins. getting on base is always nice before a HR, but lots of guys who get on base don’t end up scoring, where a HR does EVERY time. You guys can keep your OPS, and I’ll keep my HR, and RBI.

I forgot about him. Also Kut Man.
