    The BIGGEST void in leadership starts at the top with BLOOM. There was team malaise to start the season, and a 10-19 showed that, and I don’t believe the Bungling Bloom handing of the contracts of Bogey, and Raffy helped matters, so lack of leadership yes, but it starts with Bloom, and Cora.

    I’ve been straight forward on my opinion on what to do at the trade deadline, and going for a wild card spot. When I said Bloom bungled things up I was agreeing with the posters opinion, and not mine that to their thinking Bloom was a bungler. I keep saying Bloom came to that fork in the road, and looked for a third option. I still haven’t quit on this season.

    I have two conflicting thoughts. I don’t agree with $300M+ contracts on one hand, and on the other I could care less if Henry has to pay out $500M on payroll.

    Irate, and bitching up a storm, and proud of it. This team is in last place, and an embarrassment. Always have to bash someone who doesn’t think like you either players that aren’t good enough to fit your standard, or the fans who don’t share your views.

    I think morale on the team all season has been low starting with Bloom’s lowball contract offer to Raffy, and Bogey, and getting off to that great 10-19 start.

    You seem to think that if fans thought the team threw in the towel to stop watching, and going to the games would be unreasonable? To me not at all, but what would be unreasonable would be to throw in the towel when the team is in contention. Kike sucked from Day 1 this year, so you are right no trade value.

    No chance to do any postseason damage? You get there first, and then anything could happen, but I agree with you pretty much on the rest that Bloom pretty much bungled things up.

    Arroyo is a good player when healthy, but he doesn’t stay that way to often.

    How many times are you going to keep saying we had to many LF crap? You are the only one saying it. Another OF preferably an RHH should have been added before the season started period. Dugo has played all 3 OF positions, but not to your liking just like Bogey isn’t a good enough, and Vaz wasn’t a good enough C. I think you are always puzzled no matter what happens.

    Anybody who wanted to unload all the expiring contracts at the trade deadline to me was quitting, and I know there were some on here.

    I would agree if the Red Sox were officially out of a Wild Card spot, but they are not, and I’m not one of the quitters on here.

    Calling it 4 games back from the last WC is misleading. 5 games back in the L column, and you can’t make up a loss, so to me it’s 5 games back from the last. WC. 2 of Bloom’s pickups have been good, but Pham should have been here before the season started, and a 1B 2 months ago, so we wouldn’t have to of gone through the Franchy clown show. As usual Bloom being late to the party.
