    Houck was not my first choice to be the closer as everyone knows Whitlock was, but it was more than me who wanted to give Houck a chance, and Moon was one of them. That’s a fact. Bottom line the Sox May still need a closer, and neither of your two options in Hector, or Barnes. Sounds like your delighted that Houck almost blew the game. Don’t sound like a very good Red Sox fan to me.

    The Mets were owned by Joan Payson until the early 70’s who lived in Maine at times, so that created some interest here, and even had Willie Mays brought back to NY at the end of his career.

    I liked the Cardinals in the early 60’s until 67 came along, and then not so much especially Gibson.

    Yes we disagree on things, but to come of some of the conclusions that some have it’s so far out that it’s no even worth replying back too. To say I’m not a Red Sox fan, or that I don’t want them to win is 100% false. Still looking for that Cardinals hat.

    Like I said earlier I just roll with the flow. The only problem is I have to go out, and buy a Cardinals hat since I’m supposed to be cheering for them this weekend.

    Why even make the excuse that their Ace went against our #5? I never even thought about it just like Pivetta going against a minor league type. I never had a problem with either one, but Max seemed to. Nice of you coming to his side, but to be honest I think he was making excuses.

    No it doesn’t, and they are going to need him to produce especially with the schedule starting to get tougher again. When Story does good I say Story Land is open, and when Story does bad like today I say Story Land is closed. He’s just been closed more often lately.

    Call it what you want, and file a protest with the commissioner’s office if you think the A’s had a competitive advantage using their #1 against our #5 even though it didn’t bother you that Pivetta went against a minor leaguer. Talk about making excuses. Get over it.

    You are unbelievable to think I want the Cardinals to come in, and sweep the Red Sox. I just want to see the Red Sox play a good team for once. I don’t know why you keep calling Henry- Bloom, and Cora dumb. I don’t think anyone agrees with you, but you are entitled to your opinion.

    Well to be honest the A’s had 2 minor leaguers going the first 2 games, so I guess they are entitled to use their so called ace. Imagine the gaul to use their Ace against our #5 . Maybe the Sox should file a complaint with the commissioner’s office.

    I think it will be great to see the Red Sox at least play a winning team this weekend.

    That is really comforting to know as Story Land continues to stay closed more days then he is open.
