  1. I already admitted I was wrong on this, but what did I say I’m not the HOBO, and Bloom is, so if it makes you feel better to said I whiffed too then go for it, but by saying I whiffed TOO you are finally admitting Bloom did whiff. See it wasn’t that hard was it? Just another blemish on Bloom’s resume.
  2. No one said it was complimentary either. You are all over the map on this, and not even close to being right on anything.
  3. He just doesn’t think Vaz is good enough rather it was in Boston, or Houston.
  4. Once again over analyzing like you do best just like you did with saying I hated Cora. I specifically said you didn’t like Bogey, and his D meaning you didn’t like his D at SS, and in no way did I say you didn’t like Bogey. Of course with the way you over analyze things you see things that aren’t even there, so no apologies coming, and none warranted.
  5. Flip flopping again. You said you didn’t like the Story signing in the beginning. Bogey’s intangibles alone are worth more than Story. Of course intangibles don’t show up on a analytics sheet.
  6. yabba dabba doo!
  7. I understand Bloom whiffing on Schwarber, because he was so engrossed in the JBJ trade, which must have taken priority.
  8. You don’t even know why I refer to Schwarber as Flintstone Schwarber, so how could you possibly know if it was derogatory, or not??? By the way it is not!
  9. We get it that you aren’t a Vaz guy just like you didn’t like Bogey, and his D either.
  10. Vaz is still the same guy as he was before the trade to Houston. Yes he was delegated to backup, and didn’t produce much at all, but back in Boston he would be the same guy as he was before he left, and would return to #1 catcher. What Boston has now are backups. I’m not saying Vaz is the best Catcher around, but I bet the staff would like to see him back.
  11. I’m not the HOBO, and Bloom is, so because I was wrong I guess Bloom is too. Lifetime contract? Are you still hung up on that? Schwarber may have been worth signing, but a big hell no on any lifetime contract. Pure lunacy! Maybe Storyland should have been the one not signed. DD may be headed to the WS, and Bloom is sitting home watching. The jury might not have to deliberate much longer.
  12. The jury is still out on Bloom one way, or the other. Looks like he whiffed on Schwarber too, and DD didn’t.
  13. And goes to the dark side The Yankees.
  14. Agree, and at this point of a pretty much lost season they might as well give Angeli some looks. Not having one of ND better O Line doesn’t help either.
  15. So it was a bad for the Red Sox to sign him for that much money?
  16. When Story was signed it was pointed out that Bogey did not hit as good away from Fenway like Story didn’t hit as good away from Coors, but like I pointed out now Story will not play any games at Coors.
  17. I’d only take 300 K’s if Story was a pitcher.
  18. Just because Story signed a 6 yr contract doesn’t mean he has to spend all 6 yrs in Boston either.
  19. If Bloom is the man for the job as some of the posters on here think he is then building a winning team that gets into the postseason should be accomplished, but on the other hand if Bloom is not the man for the job as some poster think then that will show itself also. Easy, or hard that’s what Bloom gets the big bucks for to put a winning competitive team on the field. At least that’s the company line from Kennedy. Driving the sanitation truck from cities to cities to look for diamonds in the rough won’t be enough.
  20. Not come playoff time they didn’t. Regular season is over.
  21. You did say that guarding the 1st, and 3rd base line was the same as the shift in the shift thread, so call it what you want name calling, or not.
  22. Did the Dodgers have a great pen? Got rid of Jansen, and Kimbrel went by way of Matt Barnes, and was left off the roster.
  23. One of his better ones was that guarding the 3rd, and 1st base lines was the same as the shift.
  24. I agree 100%.
  25. Why do you have to call other fans anything at all? Lying? I asked a simple question if you had given up on 2023, and you jumped from there, and as usual over analyzed. You have a valid argument about what? You can lower your expectations for 2023, but I am going to wait to see what kind of moves are made in the offseason. I don’t have any faith in Bloom, and starting with resigning Kike was not a good start to me, but outside of that nothing has happened yet to see what expectations there should will be.
