  1. The Yankees have their own things that haven’t Bloomed, but that doesn’t take away all that what I think was spot on about the Red Sox.
  2. When I typed in Boston Red Sox yesterday that was one of the things on there. I didn’t say it was objective, and I didn’t say it was news, and I knew it was an opinion piece, but aside from all of that I thought it was pretty much spot on. Just another opinion that wouldn’t have happened probably if the Red Sox were not a losing, and last place team, and hadn’t made the lowballed contract offer that they had made to Bogey. I’m sure that’s not the only opinion like that out there from other organizations, or fans. Seriously!
  3. Would you have traded the prospects to get him? 3 of top 5.
  4. Amazing it was on Red Sox news wasn’t it?
  5. I found the article when I looked up Boston Red Sox news today, which said Red Sox incompetence on Bogey. I suppose it good be found on Yanks Go Yard.
  6. Wow! Comparing Bogey’s leaving to Vaz, and Plawecki? No doubt Bogey’s production was down this year, but I don’t think he is washed up, and done at only 30.
  7. I just think the contract offer to Bogey before the season tells more than Kennedy, and Bloom saying how much Bogey means to the organization, and the team. Obviously also JH didn’t learn anything from the Lester fiasco, and I don’t think he met Bogey out in the parking lot like he did with Lester, before he left the team.
  8. I gave my opinion. Iffy, and slim to none.
  9. Like I have said for weeks now is I don’t see how they can do much planning until the Bogey especially, and Raffy situations are settled, and then go from there. I don’t pretend to get into Bloom’s head especially after the JBJ trade last offseason. I think signing Bogey is iffy, and Raffy more so especially if he hits the open market, where the Sox won’t match some big offer.
  10. I’m talking about Bogey, and Raffy.
  11. Personally I think what Bloom, and Kennedy have been doing the last few weeks is all lip service, and PR. It’s the old actions speak louder than words, and to me the actions of the contract offers before this season speaks a lot louder than the lip service of the last few weeks.
  12. That’s right that’s my opinion just like your constant reset opinions that i don’t hear anyone who matters from the Red Sox talk about, and which I’m hopeful the crybaby fans as you call them can do something about. No reset, no rebuilds, no cliffs, and no more last place finishes. In other words go all in.
  13. Great article today in Yanks Go Yard concerning the Bogey situation.
  14. Bogey is the top priority right now. Raffy is still under contract though next year. If they don’t sign Bogey who is real close to Raffy it will be even harder to sign Raffy. If other teams really want Raffy if he becomes a FA I don’t see the Red Sox winning any contract wars with other teams.
  15. Bogey would get a no-trade after next year anyway.
  16. Exactly, and big bills at that.
  17. you’re welcome!
  18. All of the above plus the players. There was plenty of blame to go around. Like Kennedy said we all failed.
  19. Let’s remember too that they took JD’s binky iPad away, and he couldn’t hit with out it.
  20. 2020 was as bad as it gets record wise, but to say 2020 was a mess roster wise just isn’t true. Bogey, Raffy, JD, Vaz, and Dugy are not chopped liver, and a pretty good start to a lineup, and that’s why I have said that 2021 was not a big surprise to me.
  21. All this rebuild, re-set, and going all in talk is Moon speak, and that’s your opinion, which is fine, but I don’t hear any of that from the people that count like JH, Kennedy, Bloom, or Cora. Did you watch the year end PC yesterday? Kennedy said it was their fault, and they failed this past season, and they expect to be competitive every year, and I don’t think it’s in anybodies count to skip years in hopes of getting better later on that may never happen.
  22. You read into this wrong. The some who claim things are worse than they are the ones who think Bloom was left such as mess from DD, and the so called given parameters that Bloom has to deal with, and not the Blooms critics. I know you have to get the Bloom Bashers in there. They will not only be around as long as Bloom gives the fans something to criticize about, and will most likely grow in numbers. Attendance was the lowest this year in JH’s regime, and he sees, and feels that more than anything. Ticket prices are going up next year, and Bloom is in the hot seat to produce a product that is not only worth paying the high prices to see, and adding the increase in as well.
  23. As bad as things some claim they are, and as good as Bloom some claim he is he should be able to fix things, and not in a 5 yr rebuild. I don’t think things are as bad as some claim, but could get worse if Bogey, and Raffy aren’t resigned, and I don’t believe Bloom is as good as people claim he is. I do hope I’m wrong on this, but only time will tell, and sooner the better. No one gets an unlimited amount of time in Boston.
  24. I think Henry should have given Bloom one of those 1 yr contracts that Bloom likes giving out when he goes dumpster diving.
