  1. How did Brez get all his power through that certainly Bloom didn’t have especially over Cora?
  2. Where did I say I wanted IKF to play everyday? You’re analyzing like someone else we know. I just said I thought he would be the fill in with the key word being fill in. This sounds like more than a fill in situation, but Mayer’s is still a platoon player who can’t hit. Mayer is 8-49 in May with 1 HR, and 2 RBI, and also 14 K’s. I know you guys are all about OPS, which isn’t the end all, be all, and certainly doesn’t tell all IMO, but Mayer’s 599 certainly isn’t anything to brag about either.
  3. I’m not so sure on blame for Theo who’s hiding in the shadows. Did he help Brez get the job in the first place? Did Theo help Brez get the power to fire Cora, or trade Raffy?🤔
  4. I agree on that. Neither Duran, or Masa has taken advantage of their chances since little Anthony has been out.
  5. The bag heads! and the MadStork. Well deserved.👏
  6. Masa was odd man out before little Anthony got hurt, and now he’s odd man out for the Great Gasper. Story, and Masa the gifts from Bloom that keeps on giving.
  7. I agree, but it’s not going to help Mayer hit any better. Major league glove, but minor league bat. I thought when they spent $6M on IKF he was going to be the fill in at SS.
  8. 19-27. Yes that’s 8 games under 500, which is closer to the bottom than the top. 29th in HR. 29 in runs scored, and 28th in total bases per game. 8 games in a row scoring 3 runs, or less. 10 games in a row scoring 4 runs, or less. Yes the Red Sox are only 3 games behind in the loss column from a wildcard spot, which sounds good, but they would have to climb over 7 teams to get there. Did I mention this team is 8 games under 500 in a league that is so watered down, and weak, which makes them look worse than they really are if that’s possible. No one is saying to give up, and there is still a long way to go to be mathematically eliminated, but if you can show passion, and optimism with this mess all the power to you, but at the moment I’m with the Bagheads on this one. Did I mention this team is 8 games under 500.🙈🤭🤮
  9. It’s not a question of taking Fred seriously, or not, but the POINT being there are a lot more Red Sox fans out there than what there are on here that I have heard who call the Red Sox worse than flops, and are more to Fred’s way of thinking. Also so far Fred has been more right with his predictions than most of the others on here.
  10. Amazing you put me on ignore for the 10th time, and then answer through other posters, and give me shoutouts. Play it how you want, but all I’m saying is that there are a lot more bagheads out there than ones shouting Masa for Mayor. There are a lot more Fred’s out there than there are on here, and even more Drew’s for that matter who have a hard time rooting for the Red Sox, but also rooting for Brez, and JH to fail. Bashing you for giving up before the Red Sox have been mathematically eliminated for a second time for someone who’s a self proclaimed super fan would be unthinkable IMO.👋
  11. To me the best policy is being realistic. Fans with bags over their heads at Fenway, and a plane circling Fenway trailing a banner that reads fire LOWbrez, and sell the team is more in line with the thinking, and feeling in RSN, and there is a lot more of them kind of fans from what I have heard than trying to be optimistic, and passion is in the bag heads not like the small contingent on here. Of course if you don’t go out much off from here you wouldn’t know that whether you want to, or not.
  12. This is way beyond laughable trying to put a positive spin on a team that is 7 games under 500. I repeat 7 games under 500 in a year when pretty much the rest of the league sucks too. The fact that the rest of the league is sucking too makes the Red Sox 7 games under 500 worse than it would be in any other normal year. I could care less once again how close the Red Sox are to a wildcard spot when they can’t even get close to being a 500 team, and if you can’t even be a 500 team you suck no matter how you slice it, and dice it. You’re Trying to polish a turd, but the team still STINKS.🤭
  13. I answer all the time depending on WHO’S asking, and don’t answer at all depending on WHO’S asking. That’s an easy one, but some still don’t have that figured out.🤔
  14. It goes without saying for some. Not so much for others. Are you a some, or one of the others?🤔
  15. You really have to ask if this is ABSURD?🙈
  16. Brez is still looking for that 3rd option in the fork in the road.
  17. Give yourself a pat on the back, but it was already mentioned a couple of days ago by other posters to bring up Sogard, or Eaton.
  18. So now we’ll see if Mayer gets moved to SS. If he does it says something, but if he doesn’t it says even more.
  19. So you’re saying Tracy is absurd for batting Duran in the one slot. At the time I thought it was a great idea for Duran to play every day, and move back into the leadoff spot. He started to come around for a brief period, but now is even worse than he was before. DUBin can’t get his BA even close to 200, but he did hit a Homer off a non pitcher. Let’s give credit where credit is due. Burnt toast you say, so that must be another absurd thing that Tracy does by playing Story. Oh well another bad manager.
  20. I can understand the younger guys, but not Duran, and Story.
  21. The farm boys are coming, the farm boys are coming is all I’ve heard the last three years. Just wait to then you’ll see. Casas has fallen by the wayside due to injuries. Teel has been traded, and KC is still languishing down in WOO striking out 16 out of 29 AB in May. little Anthony is hurt again, and wasn’t doling much with the bat before he got hurt anyways. As Michael Holly said for all the hype, and expectations placed on him he’s been one of the biggest flops. Mayer is still a platoon player who hasn’t done much with the bat either. As I have said many times the past few years that hype, expectations, and hope doesn’t always lead to success especially dealing with lots of SUSPECTS.🤔
  22. Or most of the coaches for that matter. Except for Bailey it’s a minor league operation in more ways than one.
  23. The Red Sox have now scored 3 runs, or less in 27 of 44 games.🤮
  24. At the time Casey Stengel said Jimmy Piersall was the best CF he ever saw.
