  1. You can give me all the metrics you want, but that’s just my opinion, and nothing else, which I’ve been saying for 2 years.
  2. I know his numbers are good, but I guess to me he just doesn’t appear to be that good on a consistent basis.
  3. Hits per inn, and K’s to BB is what to me is the most important, but I do notice the ERA first.
  4. Fast seems to be his only good trait, but won’t do him much good if he doesn’t know how to use it.
  5. Houck is, and has been an inconsistent pitcher. He has good flashes, but I don’t think he is, or will be a quality starter. The Kut Man did have a good stretch last year, but has to do it for a longer period of time. Bello hasn’t pitched enough yet in the majors to see where he rates either as a top, or the middle of the rotation. Lots of promise, but that’s all at this point.
  6. I don’t believe he’s a good baseball player.
  7. Not only the tipping point, but a case by case difference. Not everyone comes back from TJ the same either.
  8. Something that was as easy as 1-2-3 was kind of funny, and new math was tried to be invented.
  9. I second the motion.
  10. The only thing I care about at this point is if the regulars, and especially the starting pitchers get through ST without an injury.
  11. You are probably right about the average Sox fan. I just think the more places you go to even the dreaded sports talk radio you get more of a sample size of the different opinions out there, and not just in Red Sox Nation, which to me is better.
  12. Good point. DD probably had that figured in.
  13. Why you continue to insist that when Song last pitched in Nov 2019, which was established by another poster until Feb 2023 when Song started throwing again is closer to 4 yrs than three years. It must be some kind of new math that only a few know about, and is also wrong in the process. Those are stone cold facts, and now you want to accuse of lies, and trolling. Others have countered your wrong assumptions on here, which is a fact also, so what is worthless is you injecting yourself into the conversation in the first place, and being wrong in the process. Remember it was just so easy as 1-2-3.
  14. What is a lie? You didn’t get the 1-2-3, and you blamed talk radio, and others called you out on not getting the 1-2-3 that you haven’t mentioned, so it wasn’t just me.
  15. Why would you have to go personal? All over not understanding 1-2-3, and blaming talk radio? Most others on here got the 1-2-3.
  16. Not at all. Like I said before you have to get out to different venues. Local watering holes, bowling alleys, and gyms just to name a few is the real pulse.
  17. It’s not a question who said it, or who thought it. The main point is that it’s as simple as 1-2-3. How much easier can it get.
  18. But yet you believed this one. I don’t think talk radio is the pulse of Red Sox Nation anymore than I think talksox is the pulse of Red Sox Nation.
  19. W O W! Blaming it on talk radio.
  20. It’s not that hard. Altogether now 1-2-3.
  21. Wow! Something that’s so simple for most. Pitching in Nov in 2019 is closer to 3 yrs.
  22. I’m not the one who can’t understand the 3 years.
  23. What’s that got to do with 1-2-3? This is Philly’s problem, and we’ll just have to wait, and see how it all works out. I’m sure DD doesn’t need your advice.
  24. FINALLY! It was always as simple as 1-2-3.
