  1. Song is 25, and will be 26 in May.
  2. Surprise, surprise you don’t like other opinions that don’t match yours, and your heel tag team partner. I get Tomase’s opinion, and I get yours, and my only input was to say the 2020 team had plenty of talent in the lineup, and if on paper to start the season is not as good as what’s on paper for the 2023 team to start the season looks like to me there is differing opinions, and by being so is certainly up for debate. You saying it is not is just an opinion in itself. We can go two ways with this to keep the discussion of differing opinions going, or move on, and I choose to move on.
  3. I don’t think, or at least I hope not it was intended, but he was stuck when Song was cleared to play.
  4. Maybe he likes Navy guys.
  5. The only thing I got is DD was the one who drafted him in the first place.
  6. I don’t do much 40 man talk, because it’s not like all on the 40 man are prized suspects. Hell not even on the backend of the 26 man are prizes you can cling to.
  7. DD thought he was worth it.
  8. That about covers it.
  9. Opinions are always up for discussion. Everyone has a different way of looking at things. To me results is what matters.
  10. Where did I say I liked the 2020 team better to START the season. Would I rather have Bogey, JD, and Vaz at those ages? Yes I would.
  11. I was only the messenger.
  12. You have your opinion, and others like Tomase has theirs, so yes it is open for discussion. I myself don’t really care what anything on paper says, and if the standard for this team to open the season is to compare it to the 2020 team to open the season than Bloom has done one hell of a job. Show me results, and not what’s on paper. Lots of times they don’t come close to matching.
  13. Well it’s not a sellout today, and that’s not a good sign.
  14. We’ve already established that the pitching on the 2020 team sucked, but the lineup to start the season, which was the main point had plenty of talent.
  15. My opinion is that he shouldn’t have been protected at the time of the draft. He got released to play, but I don’t believe the Phillies would have drafted him if they had known that at the time. My biggest interest with Song is that he is a ex Navy guy, so that’s what got my interest more than anything else, and I hope he eventually makes it with someone.
  16. Throwing in the high 90’s doesn’t make everyone good.
  17. No doubt the pitching sucked, but the lineup had talent.
  18. I think he had his chance in Boston, so now it’s someone else’s turn.
  19. Exactly! He didn’t forget how to pitch, and to me the question is how long will it take him to get back in pitching shape. Someone will find out whether it be Philly, Boston, or another team.
  20. Yes I’m sure the Phillies were trying to injure him! WOW!
  21. You misinterpreted. He said the least talented team to start the season, and not the finished product. Raffy, Bogey, JD, Vaz, JBJ, Benny, Dugy were some talent. Remember JD lost his binky iPad, and couldn’t hit.
  22. The 2020 team didn’t have any talent to start the season?
  23. The great, and objective John Tomase said it this way. This Red Sox team is the least talented team in the JH era to start off the season.I don’t think anyone predicted what happened in 2021, nor what happened last year, so I’m not predicting at all. I will say that a lot of things will have to go right for this team to be anything like 2021 starting with good health of the starting staff.
  24. That’s an easy one. JH!
  25. Low 40’s 15-25 WNW breeze with higher guest a great day for baseball.
