  1. I agree I have heard the so called Bloom supporters all criticizing Bloom at some point, and hard to believe that I have praised Bloom a time, or two. I said it at the time that he did a good job of fixing the backend of the BP with Martin, and Jansen.
  2. Now we agree that this team way to often looks like a bunch of Little Leaguers, but I just keep the feeling that they will put things together, and play well enough, and long enough to get into the postseason, and then anything can happen. That may be more than wishful thinking, but that’s all I got. If it’s wrong then it’s wrong. I’ll admit I’ve become a bad baseball fan, because I don’t like the way things are done today, and I just think it’s a watered down product, but I do keep up what’s happening, and look at the box scores every night. We disagree, but I just don’t see a sell off when there is still a mathematical chance. I felt that last year, and I feel that this year. My football team years back were having a losing season, and I posted that I hoped they lost games the rest of the year to get a better draft pick. Long story short they won the SB that year, and I got roasted, and toasted. I get your opinion to a point, but just don’t agree.
  3. Oh No Shaugnessy even mentioned Fangraphs had the farm ranking at #3, and to pop the champagne corks. In the meantime the big club is slip sliding away.
  4. I didn’t want any of them dealt, or do any fire sale like lots did on here, so why would I?
  5. There are many Red Sox fans out there who follow the exploits of ex Red Sox players especially the ones that you mentioned. Okay I haven’t mentioned the injuries, and the slippage of the ex players you mentioned either, so I’ll make sure I will when Kike sucks again. I disappeared on here yes I did, but just like last year I stayed with the Red Sox to the end when you, and others wanted a fire sale, and quit. Just like this year with your the Red Sox aren’t good enough so why bother to add anything, and just sell off again. That a loser attitude. Oh I forgot the Red Sox are planning for sometime in the future that something good may never happen. Sorry I don’t wave Pom poms like some do on here, but I don’t wave the white flag either. Like I say if you are not going to play to win then why play at all. Johnny from Burger King, and the word on the street will tell you that, but that’s only if you care to look.
  6. I’m sure it would really mess Bernardino up if he couldn’t start the game anymore, and had to wait to the 6th inning. Of course if you had a good starter he might not be needed at all.
  7. Kind of like any kind of criticism is a basher, or god forbid a hater.
  8. I didn’t campaign to deal him off, because if you remember I wouldn’t have resigned him in the first place. A $10M waste, and I said it at the time. Thanks for the postseason of 2021, but what have you done for me lately?
  9. Learned from last year? Bloom probably thinks he did a good job last year.
  10. You are right you shouldn’t speak for Cora, and I don’t think Cora would speak anyway like this.
  11. I’m not looking for much from Story anyway. He hasn’t played SS for 2 years, and once again Chang had solidified the D at SS, so I don’t know how much you’ll gain there. As with the bat that should be an improvement, but outside of a few hot flashes with the bat last year Story Land was closed more than it was opened.
  12. You are right about one thing about the Bloom supporters accepting the way Bloom is doing things as long as the team is good in 2030.
  13. I tell it like it is, and I give him kudos just like I did JD, Evol, and Wacha earlier in the season when they were doing good.
  14. Mr. Indecisive didn’t know what to do.
  15. Kike is 11-33 since leaving Boston with 6 RBI. Way to go Kike!
  16. Nor would I want to.
  17. Yes it was a possibility, but the Red Sox needed help with pitching weeks ago when all the injuries happened. Do you think Cora has enjoyed throwing all those openers, and BP castoffs out there? Waiting for the returning players as the season ticks away, and the losses mount up is just not sound judgment, and Cora I believe is smarter than that.
  18. That’s an easy one. BLOOM.
  19. This is farthest from the truth than anything to me, and the most unrealistic. I don’t know why it’s so hard for some to think it’s so far fetched that Cora, and the players are gong out there to win now despite at times looking like Little Leaguers, and actually has the concept that getting into the post season of 2023 is most important, and not 2027 when hardly anyone will still be here anymore anyways.
  20. You’re right what’s the sense in even trying especially if it means trading away any of those precious prospects. At the beginning of the season the starting pitching was so good that Sale didn’t even pitch the opener, because Cora wanted him to watch, and enjoy his birthday, and take the pressure off him, and that tired old arm. Worked out well.
  21. When I was on the JFK they used to play over the loudspeaker everyday sweepers, sweepers man your brooms, and that’s exactly what the Jays did to the Red Sox, and Chaim Bloom. This was a well deserved sweep too. On the biggest series of the year, which they all are now against a Div rival ahead of you in the standings who you are fighting against to get into the postseason you throw out there a couple of openers, and some ham, and eggers after that. A job well done, and a sweep well deserved. Imagine that one of the posters on here feeling giddy after the Red Sox were winning a few games wanted to play the Yankees, and Jays again. Well you got the Jays, and what did you do with them? Don’t worry though to some on here better days are coming, and we’re building for the future when everything will be just AWESOME. The future may turn out to be bright, but then again it may not, and then in the meantime you waisted many years trying to get there. In the Globe today it said the Red Sox were once a proud franchise with the key word being ONCE, and now they are just playing out the string. SAD, but true.
  22. Henry, and Bloom should recognize this team isn’t salvageable. They made it that way.
  23. When Cora made the statement that it doesn’t matter how many prospects you have, or what your farm ranking is. What matters most is what you do, or don’t do in October. That was a clear shot at Bloom, and not an agreement.
  24. The thing is I don’t think they are. If things don’t turn out any better than they are now I’ll be surprised if they even show up.
  25. REM Dawg, and Donny O have been the best in recent years, but I started out with Curt Gowdy, and then Ned Martin, and Ken Coleman. Those were professional. OB, and the Yuckers are not.
