I got that impression with the Kike comment too, but what Cora didn’t say was he’s PH for Kike 2-3 times lately.

Right now there seems to be a lot of moving parts with pretty much only Raffy, and Dugy knowing where they will be on a nightly basis, and playing at all, which could lead to more disfavor especially if the losses continue.

I don’t think Cora, and Bloom are seeing eye to eye anyway.

I bet improving the WL record would be the best thing for morale.

Players liking Cora hasn’t made a difference in the WL record, so no big deal on that plus JH rehired Cora not Bloom.

Weather looks real bad for Sat with rain forecast all day, and night, so maybe a DH on Sun.

If Jansen gets traded it means the season is over, so it doesn’t matter 1 iota if there is anyone left to close, or not.

I will admit I haven’t watched the Red Sox the last two nights. Watching Arnold Ziffel get drafted in the Army on Green Acres reruns seemed like a better option to me. Hell who knows if JH watches anymore. I see the Red Sox did avoid getting the broom last night, but was that really a good thing? Losing 3 straight to the Rockies at Fenway may have been the best thing in the long run, but then again who really knows what’s the best thing anymore.

I give you SS, and 2B this year. 1B, and CF last year. CF in 2021. Kike was like the last option until he settled in there, so the answer is as many as needed.

All I’m saying is that there had better be a backup plan. What’s the backup plan at 1B outside of Turner for now?

Nobody said it was, but like I keep saying these guys are being counted on to be more than just filling out a uniform, and being a cheap contract for a while.

Cora said he doesn’t see Reyes as an everyday player. Will someone tell him that Kike is not an everyday player either. Especially at SS.

This may be true, but like I said at the very least some on here are counting on them for a lot more than that.

Do you think Cora finally took Kike off SS, because he wanted to, or was told to. Cora said last night that putting aReyes at SS fine, but if the had to pinch hit for him Late in the game Kike would have to go back to SS. Of course Cora left out that he has pinch hit for Kike a few times lately.

Colorado is bring the brooms with them to the game tonight. If they get to use them that will be a new low point, and embarrassment.
