I’ll repeat what Cora said the other day that what the Red Sox do, or don’t do in October is what’s most important. Some fans will be OK if the Red Sox finish with a winning record, but don’t make the playoffs, but i believe many fans won’t. I guess it depends on how high, or how low the bar is that you have set.

I think anything short of a postseason berth is an overall failure, but Bloom has done some good things to the roster this year.

I agree that SP is, and always has been the biggest problem. I was just saying that going with Kike as your everyday SS to start the season was not a sound plan. Chang had solidified the D at SS before they got hurt, so yes they would have been fine there if he hadn’t gotten hurt.

He’d be a bum, because he didn’t fix the SS position before the season even started. What a BIG BIG mistake that was. Just like last year with the 1B situation, which was also a BIG BIG mistake.

I don’t believe anyone else would have signed him for that long a contract, so I don’t believe anyone else would.

Kike got the SS job, because of his hitting? Kike isn’t a loser he’s just nowhere near as good as some made him out on here, and hasn’t hit for two years now. Don’t forget that you called Kike an idiot on one of the game threads, so it’s not like you’ve been an ardent supporter all the way, because you have not. Bloom should have gotten an everyday SS who could field when Story went down, and Cora should not of stuck with Kike at SS as long as he did. Kike sucked there plain, and simple for there was plenty of blame to be passed around.

I’m not saying, and I don’t believe Cora is saying you have to choose either. We’re both just saying that if you you are still playing in October, or not is the most important thing.

Like Cora said recently. It doesn’t matter how many prospects/suspects you have, or what the farm rankings is, but what matters most is what the big league team does, or doesn’t do in October. Hmm. Seems like I’ve been saying that for some time now.

What went poof was me watching baseball. I haven’t watched any baseball since sometime before the AS break. I keep track of things, and read all the box scores, but I just got tired of watching any more watered down baseball, which I had mentioned before, and which I believe MLB is, and has been for some time now. Glad to see the Red Sox are rolling, and my boy Casas is looking now like a real prospect. Gloated over Kike yes, because so many on here made him out to be so much better than he really was, which was a $10M waste for this year.

You can call it a trade if you want to, but Kike was shipped out of town, because he sucked so bad, and had gotten beaten out by Reyes, and Chang. Two years in a row of sucking with the bat was even too much for Cora to justify keeping him around. How low did he go? I repeat Kike got beat out by Reyes.

Kike got dealt, because he has sucked for 2/years now. Like I said he got beat out by Chang, and Reyes, so getting booted out of town is pretty simple to understand, and I don’t believe there was anymore to it than that.

I said it at the time that Kike was resigned that the Red Sox could have done better with $10M, and I was right that it was a waste of $10M. Kike was way overrated by some on here, and imagine getting beat out by Chang, and Reyes.

More cheese for you, but what it truly is more than anything else is that some just don’t like how I voice my opinions, and the opinions themselves. I appreciate the kind words, and LMAO that you think you don’t do the same thing. Amazing that I voice the same opinions in person, and on talk shows, and other forums, and some disagree with me, and some don’t, but never the same reactions as on here, so I’ll let that speak for itself, because that does mean something.
