  1. Along with Bush wearing out a path to the mound Tek wrote volumes in his notebook. I didn’t see that either one helped.
  2. Cora’s in charge now, so I don’t think he’ll fire himself.
  3. Well said. To me the older you get the less patience you have.
  4. Cora cleaning house. First Bloom, and now the coaches.
  5. The foundation built was built by DD, and Bloom.
  6. There is plenty of blame to go around from Henry on down to the players.
  7. The guy ran a marathon to the mound this year. He just couldn’t turn Bear Claw around.
  8. Raffy was the last man standing, and luckily for the Red Sox Boris is not Raffy’s agent, or Raffy would be a FA today, and resigning with the Red Sox would most likely still be up for grabs.
  9. I guess Mookie didn’t want any part of the AWESOME speech.
  10. Most likely trade him. The word out there was DD had a trade worked out with the Dodgers for Mookie during the 2019 season, but backed out of it.
  11. Well said, and agree 100%.👍👍👍
  12. Notre Dame for some reason has had trouble developing QB lately, and has had to get a transfer 2 out of the last 3 years. Buchner wasn’t that good either.
  13. Everyone knows he was 20 years old. You guys all seemed so perplexed that he was struggling in AA, and I was not. He was struggling, and that’s a fact, and to me it’s no big deal. He’s not coming to Boston anytime soon.
  14. I don’t look at it as taking a step back. I also didn’t expect him to come up to AA, and dominate, so to me he’s just struggling.
  15. #1 I didn’t say Mayer took a step back. I just said he was struggling in Portland. I don’t know if that’s a step back, or he’s just stuck where he is at the moment Going to AA is probably the biggest jump you make. Who’s Duran?🤭
  16. And once again these guys were well worth trading for what the got traded for. Good job by DD. Bad job by DD for extending Sale.
  17. Mayer was struggling In Portland before he got hurt.
  18. Good post, and better than the Sox fans.
  19. Hartman had a bad game no doubt, but the O Line, and running backs pretty much sucked too.
  20. I don’t think they would be doing any better with Kelly, but Freeman may be in over his head. Is was a very quick hire.
  21. A well deserved loss for Notre Dame tonight. A pretty inept offense with no running game, and who couldn’t make at least 3 short yardage on 3+4 downs. 2 bad face mask penalties one on each side of the ball added to the misery. Unfortunately I don’t see the losses ending with this one tonight.
  22. Wha, wha, wha. Poor, poor Bloom. Everything was stacked against him. I’ve heard the story a 100+times. No budget, and all those bad circumstances. You have always held the theory that, because Bloom failed that every other GM would have also including DD. 1. Bloom NEVER should have been hired in the first place. 2. Bloom was in way over his head. 3. Bloom was a big failure in Boston, and anything anyone says is not going to change that.
  23. I have heard about the bad circumstances Bloom was under at ad nauseam. Bloom made more of them circumstances than he was handled. I believe that most likely if DD would have stayed things would’ve NEVER gotten as bad as they did under Gloom, and Doom Bloom.
  24. One of his many bad looks.
  25. I don’t think a scout, or a doctor had to much to do with the plight of the Red Sox the last few years. I don’t believe much of what Sam Kennedy says, but he was right at the year end press conference last year that All of baseball ops failed with the team having the record, and the finish they did. Well the same thing happened again this year, so all of baseball ops must of failed again. Now I’m glad as hell that Bloom is gone, but what I can’t understand is how others have gotten promotions, and gotten more power. Was Bloom solely responsible for the Sox residing in last place? I don’t believe that the Red Sox new GM, or whatever you want to call it job is as highly sought after like Sam Kennedy thinks it is, by working for JH, and not getting to pick his own manager, or even his own Exec VP of baseball ops.
