  1. You can have your curve while Bloom is still looking for that 3rd option in the fork in the road.
  2. 1. I’m not a Cora fan, and I’m on record as saying I would have never hired him back in the first place. 2. I think Cora is vastly overrated, because of 2018 3. I think a clean sweep should be made of baseball ops, and Cora included. I was with you on Kike, and whose idea was it to put Franchy at 1B, and Arroyo in RF? Was it Cora?
  3. In Boston?🙈. Not with the results he was having.
  4. I think that’s a pretty good assumption to make, and not flawed at all. I believe Cora has already more of a say with Bloom going, and him staying. Cora might not know how to acquire players someone else will do that, but I believe he’ll have a big say in who comes, and goes. Cora did mess up with Kike, but Kike was his boy.
  5. That’s what you got out of that? I got ABB. Anybody But Bloom.
  6. It doesn’t matter what the farm rankings is, but what you do, or don’t do in October is what’s most important.
  7. That is what I’ve been saying for 2 years now. The WL record in the here, and now, and not what might happen in 2026 is what the age fan thinks about. Not curves, cliffs, or going all in, or not.
  8. F is to harsh?. Poor, poor Bloom. INC (INCOMPETENT) will do.
  9. Good win for Notre Dame tonight. Great effort by the D, and the offense took advantage of the gifts from the D. Freeman gets a reprieve for now, and after 4 tough games in a row the team gets a much needed break. Still got some tough games coming up the rest of the season.
  10. But was it Bloom’s choice to re-hire Cora, or was it JH?
  11. It goes without saying you’re a whiner, and an apologist when it comes to Bloom, but being as big as a Bloom guy as there is its understandable.
  12. I agree that Bloom was not totally in charge, and was told to hire Cora back, but having said that Bloom was in charge more than enough to have left the Red Sox as a losing, last place in the Div team, and totally deserved to be fired. Call it the fall guy all you want, but Bloom stumbled so many times that he couldn’t get back up.
  13. I’m not so sure about that. I think Cora got quite a few jabs in.
  14. NOBODY knows what someone else would have done as the HOBO of the Red Sox the last 4 years, and NOBODY will ever know, but we do know what Bloom did the last 4 years. The good, the BAD, and the UGLY.
  15. Talk about the same broken record, and wash rinse repeat that’s happened so many times you gone through 100 washing machines. Oh those damm bad conditions that Bloom had to endure during his tenure with the Red Sox. Bottom line, and I’ll say it millionth time, and have ever since the day he was hired that Bloom should NEVER been hired in the first place. ABB. You think just because Bloom was way in over his head in Boston that every else would have been also. I think that’s as far from the truth as you can get. You claim your not a Bloom guy, so I hate to see you if you was.🙈
  16. Where does it say NO ONE else wanted the job? Saying that others turned down interviews does not mean EVERYONE.
  17. Because they didn’t. Maybe Bloom wasn’t sought after as much as people think, but only one who would take the job.
  18. The word was others turned down interviews, so while Bloom may have been their top prize others were considered. Some sold JH on Bloom, and whoever that was should have gone out the door with Bloom for giving the Red Sox the Booby prize for hiring Bloom.
  19. Agree with the cleansing. Bloom had plenty of blame on him, but he was far from the only one, and shouldn’t be the only one who is shown the door let alone get a new job title like Exex VP of baseball ops.
  20. Unfortunately JH accepted Bloom without interviewing anyone else, and the word was that some turned down interviews the last time. Once again the Red Sox job is nowhere near as sort after as it used to be, and that’s all on JH. He needs to go. 4 titles, or not.
  21. Like I said after Bloom got booted, and BOH was named Exec VP of baseball ops, and Cora was told he was coming back with undoubtedly more power that people would be all lined up outside JH door for a job interview despite what Sam The Sham says.
  22. He even went over the CBT in 2022.
  23. I do believe ABB could have done a better job, but you don’t like Bloom is some kind of Gold standard.
  24. 100% agree. The underdog pep talk certainly didn’t help either especially when the players were voicing that they needed pitching help.
  25. Bloom was in over his head, and the 3rd option in the fork in the road at the past two deadlines was his calling card. That’s right that selling the last two years would have caused a bigger uproar then how things turned. If you didn’t want to play to win then don’t play at all.
