  1. Henry got what he deserved, and unfortunately the rest of us went along for the ride. Bloom thought they were underdogs. He turned the Red Sox into a Mickey Mouse operation.
  2. Rays smarts?🙈
  3. I don’t know who had the brain fart to hire Bloom, but no one else got interviewed, nor did anyone else get fired along with Bloom.
  4. Henry got rid of the only one who was probably less popular than himself, so now he’s all alone, and the heat is ALL on him. I’m not looking for any big signing for the new person in charge either, and most likely more in-house than not.
  5. I don’t think Duvall would sign again with the Red Sox unless he was going to be pretty much be FT.
  6. Either way it will be Cora’s decision so we’ll have to wait to see what he comes up with.
  7. I know hitting isn’t as easy as some people think. Wasn’t it Ted who said taking a round ball, and trying to hit it square with a round bat isn’t easy? I said he had some good flashes this year, but I just want to see him do it for a longer period of time, before I give him a FT job let alone locking him up.
  8. Duran was 10-52 for August, so yes that hurt the offense. Who knows what he would have done in Sept. 236 OBP, and a 192 BA were not getting it done.
  9. I don’t think you will get Duvall for only 1 year this time though.
  10. Ref Man is what he is a platoon player, but the other 3 haven’t proven that they can play good enough in the ML that they can become FT players.
  11. Agree, and like I said earlier Duran had some good flashes this past season, but to me would have to show it over a longer period of time. Certainly not someone I would hang my hat on.
  12. Thanks for the correction. Yes.
  13. Moving Whitlock to the BP had something to do with that, and then doing it again in 2023.
  14. To me it’s a lot bigger risk, to lock him up now then it is to sit on him.
  15. Dugy, and NOshida helped those numbers out earlier in the year, but not so much later on.
  16. Bottom line Cora ended up with more power NOW, and Bloom is out of a job, so call it what you want. I don’t believe having a say, and a hand in the matter is managing the guys who fired him, but looks like he’s their R Hand Man now.
  17. Bad part was the joke was on us, and the rest of RSN.
  18. Duran, NOshida, and Dugy a far from a murders row.
  19. Very simple. I think he had a say, and a hand in Bloom getting fired.
  20. Cora has more power now, and I think he had something to do with Bloom being gone.
  21. No, but Cora seems to be the one in power now, and Bloom is out. I don’t think Bloom gave Cora the help he wanted.
  22. I think it was his inaction at the trade deadline this year, and the results that followed after players coming out, and saying they needed pitching help, and most likely Cora too that was the final straw.
  23. After the way Dugy tailed off the second half of the year, and having 1 yr left to FA I’m not sure he’ll be in to much of a demand.
  24. It seems that Cora managed Bloom, and that’s why Bloom got the boot.
  25. Right now Cora is the baseball guy.
