Agree on the 3 batter rule. It helps speed up the game, and it helps stopping the managers if even a little bit from over managing.

Cora was right bringing Martin in when he did NO Matter who he was facing, and when, and Cora was right bringing in Jansen when he did. One worked, and one didn’t. There was nothing to get.

At least he’s been making the routine plays at 3B/1B, which is something the others weren’t doing.

True, but a small improvement is better than it was at this point. A batting Ave starting with an 0 is not very major league.

Lots of stats are meaningless without knowing the full picture. The Red Sox are 10th in runs scored, but have about 10 games having only scored 2 runs, or less. Some guys like NOshida, and the RAF Man padded their stats somewhat yesterday, but they certainly haven’t been that good as what their stats are today.

Imanga is off to a pretty good start with the Cubs. Supposedly the Red Sox made the first offer to him at 2yrs $26M. 2yrs was not going to get any deal done. In other words why bother?

Duran is sucking at the present, and Ref Man will most likely come back to earth especially against RHP, but NOshida has been definitely buried on the bench. Should find out more today if Raffy can find his way back to 3B.
