  1. To boil it all down concrete offer, or formal offer didn’t mean a diddily s*** at all.
  2. Dope?🤭🙈🤮! You was the Dope that was all excited the Red Sox were meeting with the Yam Man when the Red Sox didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of signing him. Lots of players will meet with anyone even if they have no intention of going there just to see what offers are out there. Where is your confirmation that the zRed Sox made any offer to Monty at all? Negotiations can be a l o n g stretch of what was actually happening.
  3. In the meantime Monty has given up 9 runs in his last 10 innings.
  4. Were there any confirmed confirmations that the Red Sox actually offered Monty a contract. Plenty of story rumors means absolutely nothing. Who actually talked to Monty to confirm anything? Talking about stories to confirm an narrative.
  5. We’ll all the wishing, and hoping that went on on here didn’t get anyone to come to Boston, and some actually believed the Red Sox had a chance at the Yam Man.
  6. The report on Monty was there was a zoom call between him, and the Red Sox, but no formal offer was made. I guess you could call that in negotiations.
  7. I’m just reporting what Heyman said, and saying the Red Sox, and Monty were in negotiations doesn’t mean a whole heck of a lot. The Red Sox supposedly offered the Yam Man a contract too, so would you call that in negotiations? There were all kinds of so called rumors this past offseason involving the zRed Sox getting rid of this one, and that one, and they are still all in Boston.
  8. Monty according to Heyman didn’t want anything to do with Boston, and wanted to go to a winning team, and at the time you couldn’t blame him.
  9. At least Brez is making moves. Bloom did not until he was handed Hosmer.
  10. You didn’t need anyone to be under control for very long just like the guys they are picking up now. They are just TEMPORARY fill ins.
  11. But you’re not supposed to be able to do anything like this at this early in the season at least in Bloom’s case. 🤭🙈🤫
  12. So Brez has now gone out, and gotten 2 1B. Once again Moon kept saying this kind of thing couldn’t be done this time of year when he was trying to cover for Bloom’s inadequacies when Bloom did nothing 2 years ago when Boston was in need of 1B help. Well I guess you could call Franchy Strange Glove something.🤭🙈🤮
  13. B’s last night, and C’s tonight. The best time of the year.
  14. Yes it is astounding to see the team ERA continue to drop, and be as low as it is after another shutout, and after 30 games into the season. It would have been astounding if the rotation had stayed healthy, but with all the injuries makes it more so. On the other hand the Bruins crapped their pants last night.
  15. Being on pace to win any amount of games means absolutely nothing at this point. They were on pace to win more games last year too, and how did that work out?🤭🙈🤫
  16. Bobby D riding a 5 game hitting streak.
  17. It’s amazing that Brez could find a 1B out there while Bloom couldn’t outside of Franchy Strange Glove. Moon went on, and on two years ago that player’s couldn’t be acquired this time of year, but being a Bloom guy like he was it’s NO surprise at all, and once again wrong.🤭🙈🤮!
  18. As usual you don’t get the point at all, and fly off in a different direction. The maintenance point was NOT if Martin could have been taken out, but if he should have been in a that point in the first place, which Notin didn’t get.🙈🤭
  19. Way too much worry about losing him, which was needless before it turned out like it did. If it would have been the other way around, and the Bern Man didn’t have any options he would have been on the team out of ST.
  20. That’s why the three batter rule was put in to help move the game along faster, which the game needed.
  21. Casas is going to have a good part of a lost season this year, so they should be hammering something out now. The longer it goes I don’t see things turning out very well.
  22. Control matters a lot to some on here. I agree, and most don’t care.
  23. I get your point, and it wouldn’t hurt Mayer to stay most of the year in Portland at the very least.
  24. Disagree 100% on the three batter rule. Reduce the warmup pitches? Both are here to stay.
  25. What you think about it isn’t an opinion??? Wow!
